The Elemental

Deep within the forest there lives a creature... a creature of wonder, beauty and terror. This is the story of the elemental my child... now listen close and heed my words.

Once a very long time ago when I was a young man I had heard stories that a creature lurked in the woods surrounding our little village. People said that it was a violent unforgiving creature, while others said it was a peaceful beautiful one. After hearing what I did I decided to leave the village to look for it and see it for myself... maybe then I could put my mind at ease.

I searched for days, weeks, months, and even years... but I never saw it. "What did you do after that?" Masumi said. "I kept looking and never gave up on the dream I had of it." I said ruffling her hair "haha okay" She giggled. "Now where was I.... oh yes" I said picking up where I left off.

I Searched the tallest peaks to lowest valleys. Every day feeling as though I am getting closer to my dream. One day I came to clearing in the forest, It was beautiful. Lush green moss covered covered much of the large rocks and tree stumps. In the middle of it all was a large tree with moss creeping up it and overlooking a small crystal clear pond that shimmered from the rays of sunlight peeking over the three tops.

I gasped in excitement and wondered if this was what the stories were about. I slowly walked towards the great tree looking around and admiring the beauty around me. The moss was like a cloud beneath my feet and the air was a sweet smell that I can't begin to explain. Upon reaching the tree I laid down beneath it on a soft bed of moss, slowly drifting to sleep.

I awoke to find a girl standing above examining me almost... like she had never seen another person before. I sat up and pushed myself against the tree looking up at her with slight terror but amazement at her beauty. She had long dark hair down to her waist with kind and friendly and kind eyes. Her face held a soft puzzled look and she wore a black dress with bits of lace around the the base of it, there was a pattern on it made with darker thread.

I didn't know what to say to her or even if I should. She stared plainly at me and opened her mouth to say "Are you going to fucking say something or just stare at me!?!?!" I was shocked at what she said and at the same time captivated by her voice. I want to speak but nothing came out, I was speechless. "Helloo are you deaf!?!" I snapped back to reality and snapped "Of course not!!" She looked at me with a look of hate "Than why the fuck didn't you say something!?!" I stared at her and yelled "Why the hell were you watching me sleep!?!" Her face of hatred grew "Because I fucking live here shit for brains!!!" I thought about just getting up and leaving but I wanted to know more about this person. "Well who the hell lives in the middle of a forest!!" She clenched her fists and yelled "Beacons I fucking can and I will!!!" I started to get tired of all her yelling "Who the hell are you then!!" She looked at me with the face of death and pure hatred. "I'm mouther fucking Yuri, who the fuck are you!!!" I snapped and yield "My names Ben!!!" She looked at me in discus. "That's the worst fucking name ever!!!" I looked back at her with a bit of amusement. "What kind of a name is Yuri!? Its only two letters!!"

"Daddy why does she have the same name as mommy?" She said. "That's because it is me." Yuri walked into the room and picked up the young little Masumi. "What silly stories have you been telling her?" Yuri chuckled. "Just a story about a beauty I once searched for." I said grinning. "Ooh well keep on going I want to know how this story ends." Yuri sat down on the floor holding Masumi in her lap.

"Ok then.. Here we go." I said continuing my tail. Now, the two of us argued and fought for hours, until the sun started to set in the east and the only thing that stopped the fighting was her suddenly getting hungry. She started to wine about her starving to death, completely exaggerating it out of proportion. I had enough of it so I decided to start make her food if it will shut her up for second. I roasted a couple potatoes I had picked up on my journey.

"The hell are those " she said sticking her face practically in fire to see what they were. " What have you never seen a potato before?" looked at her with pure confusion like honestly how do you not know what a potato is. She looked at them and watched as they cooked than spun around ad practically stared into my soul. "They are so adorable!!" I thought myself "What the hell is up with her?"

She capped watching them as they cooked like a stalker so to speak. I puled them out of the fire to let them cool before eating them. She kept on watching them and freaked out when I said you eat them. "NO, I'm note eating them!!" She screams snatching the two of them away. "Why?" I just stared at her plainly just confused. "Because... They are so cute." She was holding them close to her chest like they were precious to her or something. "Okay." I was way to tired to argue any more.

The eo potatoes finally got cold and he was to hungry so she finally ate the hoping I wasn't looking. Masumi laughed "Daddy she is funny just like mommy" Yuri smiled and laughed hugging Masumi. "So how dose this story end?...Hmm" I smirked and went on to finish the story. "Well the two of them slowly started to fall in love and they had a little girl that they named Masumi." She snuggled up against Yuri and drifted to sleep. The two of us put her to sleep... and then went off to sleep ourselves.
