(Rins pov)
Thud!
"Ah crap!" I groaned while getting up. That was the third time I fell out of bed. I rubbed my head and yawned. I grabbed the diary and went to the kitchen. "Read this part." I told Yukio while opening to the final page. I sat down across from him and began to eat my breakfast. "What is this?" He said while turning to the cover,"A diary?" I nodded my head. "So we really aren't alone." He mumbled. "No need to be worried though." I said. Yukio gave me a confused expression. "It's been saying stuff like making friends so it must not really be a threat. Plus I feel like it's somewhere in the library since it keeps talking about books." I explained. Yukio fixed his glasses. "Yes but as you can clearly see right here it keeps saying it doesn't want to scare anyone,so it can be a threat. Plus it's been watching us! Doesn't that seem a little suspicious or something?" Yukio argued. "It's just some harmless little girl! Nothing to worry about especially when I'm here!" I said heroically. Yukio rolled his eyes. "Wait doesn't he know more about this than we do?" Yukio pointed at our little chef (Ukobach). I looked over to the small demon who looked confused. "Is there another demon in the library?" I asked. The room went silent. He ignored my question and went back to cooking. I looked at Yukio. "Hey you didn't answer my question!" I yelled while slamming my hand on the table. He froze for a second but went back to cooking. "C'mon. Little buddy?" I said softly. He turned around and sighed. He walked over to me and whispered in my ear. What? I stood there in shock. "What did he say!?" Yukio demanded an answer. "There is a demon in the library. He said she's one of the most scariest demons he's seen. She's been watching us and our every move." I whispered. "Well let's see for our selves." Yukio got up and thanked Ukobach for the meal. I did the same and caught up with Yukio. "Wait we're just gonna go see right now?" I asked. "Yep." Yukio replied. I sighed and followed Yukio yo the library. "What's the problem?" Yukio glanced over at me. "Oh I don't know maybe the dark aura surrounding the door?!" I yelled a bit frightened. "Oh come on you're a demon. You shouldn't be scared." Yukio chuckled. "I'm not afraid of anything!" I yelled in his face. I swung open the door and looked up at the giant demon. "What the hell is that!?" I took a few steps back.It was huge! It had giant eyes,sharp teeth,tentacles,and a scaled tail. "Give me back my diary!" It roared. "Yukio no!" I screamed as Yukio pulled out a gun and shot the beast. "I knew it." He said triumphantly. "Knew what?" I questioned. I looked at the beast and got a closer look. "It's made out of paper and other stuff." Yukio informed me. "I knew that!" I whined. "Then who was the one that said 'give me back my diary'?" I looked around and noticed a cloth behind the paper beast. I tugged on the cloth but it wouldn't budge. "Hey Yukio come check this out." I ordered. He went around on the other side. "It's a trick!" He yelled running out of the room. I looked further down to where the cloth had stopped. There was a pile of bricks holding it down. "That demon tricked me?! I thought I caught it! Wait up Yukio I need to get revenge!" I ran past Yukio and into the kitchen. "Where is it? The diary, it's gone!" I yelled looking under the tables and such.
They are still here though. I can feel it. Somebody's staring at me. I looked behind the counter. "Aha! Dang it.." I kept looking and making a fool of myself. "Rin. Look up." Yukio whispered in my ear. I looked up and saw a (F/C) mist cloud. "Aha! Found you! Now reveal yourself!" I demanded as I pointed at it furiously. "No." It said in a soft voice. "I said reveal yourself! Demon!" I tried jumping up and grabbing the cloud. It moved to quickly but it dropped a book. "The diary!" I grabbed it and looked at the cloud. "Noooo. Give it back!" It raised its voice a little bit. "Then reveal yourself demon! Or else no diary." I threatened. It lowered down to the ground and the mist formed a figure. It then turned into a girl I think with a cloak. As I was about to say something I say water dripping do
wn her face. "It's crying?" I mumbled a little too loud. "SHE's crying. She's not an it,Rin." Yukio punched me in the arm. She furiously wiped her tears away. "Yukio help me out! I don't know what to do with a crying girl." I yelled. Yukio backed away,"You did it. You solve it." I glared at Yukio and looked back at the girl. She was almost as tall as me. Um. What do I do."I'm not a demon." She cried. My eyes widened at her words. I patted her on the head. "Here," I mumbled handing her the diary. She hesitantly grabbed the diary and backed up a bit. I looked over to the side and saw Ukobach quivering in fear. "Why are you so scared?" I asked. I heard light footsteps coming towards us. The girl walked past me and reached her hand out towards the small demon. He stood in fear as she lifted up her hand. (F/C) mist surrounded her hand. Yukio and I stood there in confusion. What's she doing? Before I could ask she pulled out a scary looking knife covered in red liquid. "Don't hurt-" before I could finish my sentence I saw her talking to our little chef silently. She then walked away with her bare feet and diary. "What was that about?" I whispered to Yukio. I went to over to the Ukobach and he told me everything. "Oh I see. The knife was his and she took it one day and he thought she was going to steal more of his stuff. So he got scared of her and whenever she came by to give back the knife he hid away. She just told him sorry and that was about it." I told Yukio. "Well does he know anything else about her?" Yukio asked. The demon shook his head. "Wait we can just ask her ourselves! Let's go." I laughed. We went to the library and saw the girl again. She stopped reading a book and looked at us. "How much did you read?" She asked us. "Almost all of it." I responded. She sighed and sat on top of a (f/c) cloud. "So what do you want?" She asked. "We want to know who you are." Yukio stepped up. She took off her hood and revealed her (h/c) (h/l) hair. She lifted her head up and showed us her (e/c). "I'm (y/n). Any other questions?" She finished. Yukio and I looked at each other. "Why are you here?!" We both questioned. She looked at us and rolled her eyes. "I should be asking you that." She said with a bit of sass. Yukio and I grew impatient. I clenched my fist and calmed down. "Look we just want to know more about you. I thought you wanted to make friends." I smiled lightly. I looked at her watery wide eyes. I blushed as she hopped off her cloud and hugged me. "Well friends trust each other enough to share and talk about their feelings." Yukio laughed. She gasped and ran to her cloud and pulled out her diary and a pencil. She smiled and wrote something down.
(In the diary)
Today I made friends! I am so happy that I can scream! They are very nice and seem understanding. I hope we get to know each other more. I'm just confused on why they don't have the same smell of a human. Especially Rin. But I really want to know what that feeling was. It was like a warm feeling in my chest when they accepted me as a friend. If this is what it feels like to make friends then I want to meet more people!
;w; I like making friends in real life. ;v;
Anyway till next time my lovely peaches.
