I got up to answer the door.
"Hey" I said cheerfully.
"Hey" replied Laurie, my girlfriend. She was 25, blonde with streaks of red in her hair, she didn't tell me much about her background. She has a rose tattoo on her leg, as well.
"How have things been going?" Laurie asked.
"Not too good, frankly. I mean, I haven't got a single idea for the fourth book in Hunted and my Tumblr keeps crashing" "Shame. Can't you just ask your friends?"
"Nah. I want my ideas to be original, not someone else's"
"Can't you just mix up the ideas?"
"Say, that's not a bad idea. Actually, I'm thinking this'll be the last book in the series. The idea has to be perfect, flawless"
"Oh. Well, they could have some great ideas, which you could get inspiration from"
"Alright. I'll try it tomorrow"
Laurie lay down my bed after she knocked off her high heels. She looked so stressed, and tired out. I pick up her bag to put it on my tall boy, when a note falls out. I couldn't help but read it. 'Look, Richard. I'm trying to tell you we have to get a divorce. I want to be with Sven. I don't want upset you, but it's the truth. Don't try to kill me Richard, I understand your anger management problems. See a doctor, don't see me...again. Bye, Laurie Hart'
I had absolutely no idea Laurie was married. I looked at the letter and frowned. I place it back in the bag, pretending not to have noticed it.
