Nobody like the sound of my idea.
It was the next morning and my friends Aiden and Toni shot daggers at me as I explain what I wanted to do. I explain to them about the vision I had before, and how I wanted to go through woods to find if there was any signs that my vision maybe true. Aiden, who has been my friend since we were in kindergarten, sighed oh so seductively. I mean he wasn't trying to be seductive, but damn. My friend Toni who was a beautiful dark-skinned girl folded her slender arms, "I see the blunts, we've been having are hitting you too hard, eh?" She asked, raising her perfectly arched eyebrow.
I couldn't believe my two wild cards were doubting me. Truthfully this hurt.
"Aw, guys c'mon. You guys have done more stupid shit than this, and I went along with you. Why can't you do this for me?" I fake pouted. I didn't want them to know I would do this by myself anyway. I only wanted some assistants, so I wouldn't do too much work.
" This is not how we wanted to spend Spring break. Digging for dead bodies and shit." Aiden deep voice roared. Roared? I need to stop acting so horny. Just because a growth spurt hit him with the left hook this year doesn't mean I should fawn over him. But damn he is just so sexy.
Anyway back to the point.
"What we going to do, huh? Hit blunts and be strung out like some Las Vegas hookers? We are not in Nevada idiots, we are in this shit hole with nothing to do. We might as well dig up some dead bodies." My head turning to each of them, to examine their expressions. They seem to be pleased to be insulted. Aiden got up from the bed and wrap bluffed arm around my neck. "Well Rayne, I do believe that Toni and I don't want to be strung out losers for spring break. You convince us to not let your dreams be dreams." Toni nodded with agreement. I shook his heavy arm off. I forgot these people were ass backward, masochist fucks.
I walk to my dresser and grabbed my working gloves. I look over to them masochist fucks and sighed.
"You better hope this is a dream."
The tree branches crunch under our feet as we through the woods. Fresh daisies look as though they were starting to bloom. The tall trees above us waved as the fierce wind reminded me of the night I got shot. The silver bullet around grew cold as the rest of my body did. I stopped when I heard familiar sounds of a river that passes through the woods. Sounds that were only familiar by vision.
"This is it." I huffed. I was starting to believe I was just a psychopath that is only hallucinating. Aiden took the shovel from over his broad shoulder and handed it to me. I gave him a look. "This is something you wanted to do, don't look at me." He countered.
Punk ass bitch.
"Fine." I snatched the shovel, even though it was heavy, I didn't feel the weight. I put the shovel in the ground and stomped it a little deeper. I dug for what seem like forever until I finally hit something that was hard. I lost the shovel, got on my knees, and started digging with my fingers. Toni grabbed by my shoulder, " Rayne."
I didn't stop, I couldn't.
Aiden kneel down, he looked up, and then Toni kneels next to me. Their worried looks only slowed me not stopped me. I took one more hand full of dirt and we all fell back on our backsides.
We all fell on our asses because the smell that was coming from the hole was absolutely revolting.
