Without you life is meaningless

Maybe it wasn’t you

Right now we are through
Still can’t believe I am free
The gentle kisses shared
The hands intertwined
The feelings raw and bare
But that was once upon a time
I could feel within me
The butterflies arise
And that's just when you
Gazed into my eyes
What happened to never?
We drifted too fast
What happened to forever?
You said we would last
I know fairytales don't exist
But I never thought reality would strike so hard
You were impossible to resist
And now it's just me that's left in dark
Everyone found it strange
How you moved on so fast
For her, I hope you can change
And somehow you both would last
I wish I could go back in time
Erase all the pain
Describing love is futile
It only drives you insane
It's been a year
Time does heal
But my relationships now
They're just not real
For the countless flings I had
I consider them a game
Sometimes it makes me quite sad
And you're the one to blame
