Just as I was getting use to this new realm called storybrooke, I realized that I was still missing her. I did enjoy this place more because of the strange places and exotic people who also live here. It's strange yet beautiful how no one here remembers who I am as Rumplestiltskin. It's a beautiful gift because I don't have to feel like I'm scaring others and could actually have abnormal life for once. Was it actually worth the price of my wife dead? No! I'd rather live with my wife in the same old provincial life than without her in an amazing town. She just roamed around in my mind every single second I wasn't busy.

As I went to the public library to get a few history books to catch up on how things like a microwave work. As soon as I walked in the small little book shop, I couldn't help but remember a very special event happening in a book store in my old realm.

Six years ago..

"No! The deal was that I got you the golden egg if you gave me the invisible bean! This is NOT what I made a deal with you for."

"You don't know who your messing with, dearie!" This man was already pissing me off even more than any of my other clients and it wasn't even noon yet... why of all places does it need to be in a book shop? As I continued to rant about who and who not to make deals with and at the verge of showing him what happens when you mess with Rumplestiltskin, the Dark One, the front door to the book store opens to show a gorgeous, one of a kind gal with a smile and two books in her hand. This caused me to stop in the middle of my dreadful conversation with a frightened book owner and her eyes just couldn't leave mine. Shaking my head mentally, I knew that there was NO chance to even have a chance to talk to her because she knew who I was and well, look at me and look at her. She just looks so naive and innocent. Her delicate voice helped me with that thought.

"Good morning Sean and good morning sir. So sorry to bother your conversation with him, but I came to return the books I borrowed."
Smiling, she dropped them off and headed back towards the door and right before she left, she turned around to glance at me and then looking at the confused owner. It caused my nonexistent heart to skip a beat.
"They say it's bad to make deals with Rumplestiltskin but he seems like an ordinary human being just like me. In person, he seems so much better than in all the books. Anyways, good day and hope to see you two around soon."

Her gaze went back to look into my eyes for a split second and returned the smile on her face. Man, was this girl beautiful. And just like that, she was out of the store to do who knows what.
