Chapter 2

After getting fully dressed,I went to go find Ren(once again). I walked for about a minute then I found him.

He was leaning against a tree,with a serious look on his face.

"Are you ok",I asked.

"um,yeah...we have to go",he said,while looking around.

"Why what's wrong",I asked concerned by his actions. He was acting as if he was scared that something bad were about to happen. Not really scared but more...defensive.

"we just have to go",he replied with a stern voice,like I did something wrong. And I don't know why,but it stung.

"I don't like your tone",I said,frustrated.

"just-we have to go",he said,before taking my hand. And,I don't know what it was,or why it happened,but when he touched my hand I felt a jolt of electricity run up my arm. I'm pretty sure he felt it too,because he immediately pulled his hand away. He stopped walking for a second,with a questioning look on his face. Then,as if nothing happened,he moved his hand to my waist and guided me out the woods.

I looked up at him,he was obviously mulling over something.

"What was that",I said. He ignored my question. I don't like being ignored. So I stopped walking."Ren,what is going on",I demanded. he turned to me,and raised a brow.

"don't look at me like that",I said,while folding my arms. He opened his mouth and closed it, like he was about to say something but chose not to."Tell me",I demanded.

"Your so demanding",he mumbled. I rolled my eyes at his comment."I'll tell you when we get some where safe",he said,while he started walking again,I followed.

We reached the car and got in,and he got on to the road again.

"Where are we going",I asked.

"You ask a lot of questions",he said before glancing at me with a smirk.

"You don't answer them enough",I retorted. he chuckled,but still didn't answer yet.

"Why did you come with me",he asked,out of context. Why did I come him? Did I trust him?

"I don't know...I guess I thought I could trust you...or maybe it's because I've taken down bigger guys",I said with my own smirk.

"Oh,so it's an ego thing",he said.

"maybe",I said.

"or..maybe your trying to make yourself feel better,after I tackled you,back there",he said before glancing at me with a stupid grin on his face.

"You cheated,that was completely uncalled for,and totally unfair",I said.

"Yeah ok,keep telling yourself that. You just might find the last strand of dignity you have left",he said while laughing. I gasped,and held my chest,pretending that his comment actually hurt.

"suck it up",he said.

"Your a jerk",I said with a huff,while folding my arms,and pouting.

"aw,poor baby",he said in a fake baby voice. I rolled my eyes.

"Where are we going",I asked.

"back into town",he said simply.

"Ok",I said.

After we got in to town we stopped at Starbucks.

"What do you want",Ren asked. Once we found a table outside.

"caramel frappiccino",I said.

"be right back",he said,before going into the store.

I sat there mulling over what has been happening today. I can't believe Kaleb' s gone. I can't start thinking of him,I'll start crying,and I might not stop.
