When I finally came to, I was in a chair, tied. There was no way I was getting out of this one without a bruise or two. But, as soon as I was out I was going home. I sat in this chair under a single light bulb, with the smell of sweat and gunpowder lingering around me for what was three days judging by a small crack in the wall letting enough air in to breathe over the rank smells.
My head was always spinning, and so was the room. I wanted out of here so bad. One night as I was pondering about my life and about how if I died I would be okay. The woman I loved was safe at home, or at least I hoped, and my family loved me, but, there was something missing. Where was MY FAMILY? The family I was protecting was not here.
"Welcome Sawyer, we have been awaiting your arrival." a ominous voice said from behind the dark shaddow that encompassed his face.
"Hey, so I have a thing I have to be at in about I dont know, three days, so, can I go? Are we done here? Can I leave? Why am I here? Answer me!" I screamed at the man that just stood and looked at me.
"Wanting to leave so soon are you? Well thats not fun is it?"
As soon as he said those words the ropes the helf my wrists together were getting tighter, and chafed, and were probably going to bleed here any second.
"Oh does that hurt, well then your not going to like the next thing I do...."
Before the next thing happened I woke up. Since I have been back my nights have been long, I cant even sleep without seeing that night over and over again.
I cant help think that if I had done one thing different I would be just fine, nothing could possibly happen to me here right? WRONG.
Everday, every second that I have been back I have clinged to Jane like she is the last bite of ice cream in the bucket. I hope she doesnt mind, she never did before I left. I think though, soon, she will have to know. All about my adventures.
Whens the right time though, beforw or after our wedding, or never. I have to tell her though, shes my new wife, the love of my life, we have no secrets. she will eventually know the truth, in the meantime I will just make breakfast and enjoy all the amazing kisses from my soon to be wife.
I hummed as I made a surprise breakfast for Jane, she eventuallu woke and it was right as I was about done. She woke, peered her head up from the couch where we slept last night after the rain. She looked at me and for a second I couldnt help but realize how beautiful she was.Her hair even in the morning fell perfectly on her face, and her face glows with a youthful glow, she had the most perfect green eyes that sparkled everytime tue sun hit them. She was absolutely perfect.
She was soon wrapped around my waist hugging me and resting her warm body on mine. She was so at peace, and that instantly calmed me down. She had no cares, I admired her, she was my eternal soulmate.
I quickly finished breakfast and brought it out to her on the deck. I set it on the table next to where she was standing, and when she turned around to talk to me I kissed her, and enjoyed the moment. I ABSOLUTELY loved her lips. They reeled me in like a fish. And I was okay with that.
