old Liam yelled into the darkness. It was black, you couldn't see anything or anyone. Liam didn't know where he was or who was talking to him but, he knew he didn't like the darkness or people. "But I'm your friend, LiLi" someone called into the room, the deep voice bouncing on the walls. "That not true! I don't have friends..." Liam muttered as he put his hands out in search of a light. Slightly little Liam tripped on his foot causing him to fall forward into someone's arms. Liam looked up to see bright green eyes looking down at him, floating, glowing green. His breathing quickened. "I want my mommy" Liam muttered. He shuddered when he felt hot breath on the back of his neck, "Shhh love, I'll take care of you. No need to fuss" an etchy voice whispered behind him. He turned to see not green, but hazel eyes staring at him. Liam was so scared, why couldn't these things whatever they are leave him alone? Liam pushed the  green glowing eyes away "MOOOOMMYYY" Liam shouted. He was dizzy, and was extremely terrified. All at once the lights were on and Liam found out he was in his room. The people were gone and his mom hugged him. "Honey, what's wrong" she asked as Liam just held on to his mother. He always felt 456 times safer with his mom than anyone else... other than the purple stuffed dragon that laid in his bed. "Mmmmonster.. all of em mommy!" Liam shrieked gripping tighter on his mom's shirt. Liams mother stifled a giggle as she looked lovingly at her son. Liam was always scared or mad at something and someone his size wasn't very intimidating. "How about this.. I get you a nightlight? Sound good?" she tried to convince him. "No-t tired, sleep wif mama" Liam yawned raising his hands, making grabby motions. Liams mom decided to not push the matter and let him sleep next to her. In the morning Liam went to his online schooling which lasted around thirty minutes. He was in the gifted program so schooling in an actual school was too slow for him.

Liam knew his mom wasn't home so he decided to see what she left him. He found $50 on the table so it must be his. His mom would leave a good amount of money on the table for Liam to go and eat. "Meow" Liam looked down to see four cats. He quirked an eyebrow at the kitties, he doesn't own any cats. But he loves cats, especially white ones. "Hiya kitties!" Liam cheered and pet the one that pounced on his leg. The kitty was the tiniest of the four and had bright green eyes. Liam smiled as his heart started to swell. He already fell in love with the four and he hasn't known them longer than ten minutes. The growl from his stomach caused Liam to whimper. He stopped petting the cats. "C'mon kitties! Lets go get food" Liam went to grab his coat and shoes, making his way to the front door. All four cats followed, walking beside Liams feet protectively watching the little things around Liam. Of course, Liam didn't notice anything and kept walking to Terries, a grocery store that was four blocks from Liams house. When he walked into the store, the four cats that walked with him were sitting beside the door into the store, waiting patiently for Liams return. Liam got five bags of his favorite chips. One for him and one for each of his new fuzzy white friends. Once he got outside he noticed the cats sitting. "Alright, home we go! Then we can play!" he squealed. As he started galloping he couldn't see it, but the cats were smiling.

As Liam was walking he looked to the right and gasped. There was a new park built and little girls and boys his age were playing along with some teens. Snowball fights, snow angels, tag, hide and seek, and Liams personal favorite, Snowmen (or in Liams case Snowbatman). Liam stared in awe at a little girl his age with brown curly hair in a ponytail. Liam bit his lip as he started walking to her. "Hi, I'm Danielle but everyone calls me Dani" she smiled at Liam. "Liam" he shyly put his hand out and she giggled pulling Liam into a big bear hug. When they pulled away niether of them could stop smiling nor the red on their cheeks. Liam and Dani decided to build a snow Batman.. but it ended up looking like a shoe instead. They played for about two hours until Dani's parents came and told Liam it was time for Dani to go home. They gave Liam a special number to give to his parents. Liam wanted to play more but he was so busy with Dani and the kitties he didn't notice that the others were gone.

Liam sighed heavily as he and the cats began to walk home. It was dark, cold and the little wind didn't give Liams little runny nose any justice. Liam began to get scared, he absolutely hated the dark. He looked down at the cats but they were gone. Liam never felt so alone or unsafe. He began to cry, but as always, no one would come help him. Life was cruel, Liam knew that. "Kid, you alright" Liam turned to see a man with light brown hair and brown eyes. Liam nodded and kept walking on to home."Wanna come home with me" the man smirked. Liam was told not to talk to strangers so he didn't reply and kept walking. "I'll take that as a yes" the man whispered as he picked Liam up. Liam started to kick and hit. "Let me go! Let me go!" Liam yelled. The man only chuckled and walked torwards a car. "I believe he said, to Let. Him. Go" a voice growled causing the man to turn around. Liam looked to see a man With dark, brown hair and glowing green eyes."Yeah?" the man holding Liam chuckled. "Who's gonna make me" he asked amused. "I will" another voice called, the man turned to see a dark haired lad with glowing hazel eyes, leaning on a post, glaring at the man holding Liam. "And me" another voice spoke. This one had lighter brown hair and icy blue eyes. "And me" A man came from the sky, his hair was blond, his blue eyes narrowed on the man carrying Liam. "I got one word for you" the blond spoke. "Really... what is it" the man holding Liam asked, shaking slightly. The blond came forward to his face, "Run" he whispered in the mans face. Out of fear.. Liam passed out.
