(Liam is now 10)

The richest kid alive!

Young child's parents die, leaving him with $$$$$$!

Miserable to Millionaire.

Saddest of riches.

Young boys' parents die? Leaving him millions!

Millionaire parents murdered, Child stands as witness.

Liam's life has been hell the last three months.

Forget the money, Liam just wants his parents back. The boy's memory doesn't remember anything of when he was younger. He remembers what happened on the night of the murder, he was there after all.

"Mom can we go home now?" Liam whined for what seemed to be the fourteenth time. The boy was forced to go to his grandma's house. Don't get him wrong he loves his mamie but he was really tired and he didn't want to fall asleep and snore like he did the last time he visited.

"Oh Li, dear in a minute. Let me get your father. Then we can go home and I'll make you homemade ice cream" she contained her giggles when she saw Liam's eyes sparkle at the mention of ice cream.

He slowly batted his eyelashes and stuck his lip out in a pout. "Chocolate ice cream?" he asked hopefully and she kissed his nose.

"Yes baby. Chocolate ice cream"

Liam jumped in excitement, forgetting how tired he was. He ran to his dad who was talking with grandpa and their friends.

Liam impatiently tugged at his father's sleeve. His father seemed to ignore it making Liam aggravated.

"Dad..." he whisper/yelled.

His father held up a finger telling Liam to wait a minute.

"Hold on... Li I'm on the phone. We'll leave when I'm done, yeah?"

Liam sighed as he walked to his mom. "So we aren't going to Mamie's?"

"No, Mamie is tired and she needs her rest" she smiled. Her red lipstick shined brightly and contrasted well with her polar bear fur coat and hat.

The snow was cold against Liam's fingers. He was dressed in a tux, he hated it. He felt snobby and gross.

"Ok guys! Now we can get into the car and go home. I haven't drove in ages, darling! Its so exciting. You must try it sometime." his father smiled widely.

Liam's mother rolled her eyes in response and got in the passenger side as Liam got in the back.

"I don't know why you insisted on driving when we have our own personal drivers. We should move into a bigger house, the one now isn't as large as I want it to be" his mom's voice was stern and his dad let out a sigh.

"I like the one we have now and I'm pretty sure Liam does too. Don't you, boy?"

"I'm not getting in the middle of whatever you're arguing about" Liam spoke up, his tiny voice making his father frown.

"Mommy and daddy aren't arguing. We are having a disagreement." Liam's mom explained as he looked at her quizzically.

Before he could speak the car began to make an odd noise.
