Chapter 3 - The challenge

ETHAN'S POV

As I put her down on her feet in the dark, I quickly moved myself away towards the kitchen. 

"Lights...Fire...lock doors" I commanded as I walked towards the liquor cabinet.  Simultaneously the whole penthouse lit up, the grand fire in the lounge ignited and the locks turned in the door.   

I needed a drink.  It was taking every bit of control I had not to rip that dress off her and take her in every possible way known to man.  Urgh!

"Ethan, where are you?" my brother asked me through our pack link.

"Don't worry bro" I replied as I poured 2 drinks out.  "I found my mate and I'm back at my place now"

"No way bro. Congrats. About time.  I'm guessing we won't be seeing you for a while" he said laughingly.

"Nope and no one is to disturb me until I say otherwise. You're in charge"

"Understood.  Message received loud and clear.  Night bro. Have fun" Aaron replied.

With that I took both drinks and return to Eva only to find her stood in the exact spot I had left her in. 

"Come on Eva, let's sit and have a drink.  It might give us a chance to get to know each other" I stated as I walked over to the couch, put the drinks down, shrugged my jacket off and sat down. 

Eva stood frozen to the spot as I watched her.  After a time, she slowly walked over, her longs legs disappearing into the hem of her dress as her heels make a noise on the wooden floor.  Slowly she lowered herself down onto the opposite end of the couch. 

I silently handed her a drink, clinked her glass and sat back to admire the view and boy what a view it was.  My mate was hot and as sexy as hell.  As I loosened my tie all I could think of was Eva dancing on the dance floor and the way her hips moved.   I wanted a repeat performance of her grinding her ass but this time while she sat on my lap.  Patience, patience my wolf spoke.  All in good time. 

"So Eva, can I ask what Amber was on about and what you were going to say to me before I rudely interrupted you with my lips" I asked with a smirk on my face. 

Eva blushed and eventually told me of the deal she had made with Amber.  Anger flared up inside of me.  There was no way she was going to 'live a little' with anyone else but me.  I'd make sure of that no matter what.

"It was stupid" she rambled "just something to..."

"One week?" I stated as I cut her off. 

"Yes" she whispered. 

"Challenge accepted" I stated. 

Eva's eyes snapped up to mine as she frowned. 

"Let me tell you what is going to happen over the next 7 days Eva.  I, Ethan Delao will give you every experience you have ever desired.  You Eva....mmm?"

"Torres" Eva muttered, looking down.

"You Eva Torres is going to....what was it Amber said..ahh yeah 'live a little' I replied. 'The only difference is Eva,  you are going to live that little with me and only me'

I leaned forward and lifted her chin up so her eyes met mine.

"I will give you everything your heart desires Eva.  I will give you all the experiences you crave for and then some.  I ask for one thing in return and I won't take no for an answer" I stated

"Wha...what do you want Ethan" she replied huskily.  I could smell her arousal.

"You. I want you Eva.  In return for the next 7 days, I want you.... Forever"  I heard Eva gasp as her panicked eyes searched mine. 

  "I don't understand" said Eva

"Simple.  I'm giving you the chance to have a trial run with the great Ethan Delao.  You will move in with me for the next 7 days and in those 7 days I will aim to please you in every way possible as per your deal with Amber.  You want the 'experience' and I'm asking you to trust yourself to have that 'experience' with me.  It's obvious we are both attracted to each other, is it not? As I said before Eva, at the end of those 7 days, should you fall in love with me, you will marry me and be mine forever.

"WHAT!" screamed Eva as she pulled back.

"Wow.  Not up for the challenge then?" I teased.  "I wouldn't have taken you for a woman who was scared of falling in love.  Only you can make yourself fall in love Eva. So really the question should be, why are you so worried about taking up the challenge? 7 days Eva...Only 7 days."

Eva looked at me as she replied "and if I don't want you at the end of those 7 days Mr Delao"

"That's not possible Miss Torres.  I'm just so loveable" I replied with a big grin on my face.  "I promise you, I will try my best to make you mine by the end of the 7 days"

"So sure of yourself Mr Delao.  I wouldn't be so confident; you know nothing of me as I of you"

I moved over the couch as I boxed Eva into the corner and buried my lips into the crook of her neck.    "Oh you will Eva.  You will know everything about me, along with every inch of my body, as I will yours. It will be my lips, hands and body that will be driving you crazy every day and night.  It will be my name you will be screaming – no one else's.  Do you understand Eva?  I want YOU and I promise you, you will be mine Eva Torres..." as I dragged my lips up to her jawline, running them up and down. "Are you up for the challenge baby or are you all talk?  We are both consenting adults here, let's see where this takes us Eva.  What's the harm?  Say on the off chance you don't want me, you can walk away but at least you'll have had the experience you crave so much.  I know you want me as much as I want you baby" as I trailed my hand up her leg, moving my lips to the other side of her neck.

Eva groaned "Ethan...please..."

"Please what Eva.  Come on baby tell me what you want" as I started to kiss and bite at her neck gently.  "Tell me what you want baby."

I trailed my hand to her waist and let it brush the side of her breast, as I moved it to grab her hair, pulling it back hard, looking down at her beautiful face.  God, she was beautiful. 

"Open your eyes Eva" I asked as she slowly looked up to meet mine. 

I lowered my lips to her's as I spoke again, "What do you want Eva? Tell me beautiful."

I couldn't hold back anymore, as I brought my lips crashing down onto hers.  Sparks were flying all through my body and I could feel my wolf wanting to come out.  I growled as I pulled away, moving my lips to her neck

"Tell me Eva" I growled at her. "Tell me you want me.  Tell me, I need to hear it baby"

"Yes...Yes...groaned Eva as I started to suck on her neck.

"Yes" Eva moaned "I want you...I want you so bad.."

 YES!  That's all I needed to hear.  Within seconds I had thrown Eva over my shoulders and heading towards my bedroom.  Time to put my plan into action. 

Tonight she was mine.
