Chapter 6: The First Show

ELIZ'S POV

I paced around backstage, bitting my lip as hard as I could. Why did I ever agree to this? I can't do it, I simply can't! There are way too many people out there, I'm not fucking singing in front of them and no one can make me! Not even Vic. I refuse!

"At this time, I'd like to welcome a very special person out to sing this next song with me. Come on out Elizabeth." I stood there, shaking my head. I wasn't coming out. Vic laughed into the microphone a bit. "Come on Eliz, they don't bite." He said with a smile. I shook my head again. I wasn't coming out and he couldn't make me.

"I'll be right back." He said to the crowd before waking off the stage. "Come on Eliz!" He exclaimed, grabbing my wrist and trying to pull me out.

"No Victor! I don't even know why I agreed to do this! You don't understand how bad my social anxiety is! I've been back here freaking out Vic! I can't do it! I refuse!" I almost yelled.

"Come on Eliz, I'll be right next to you, singing with you the whole time. Please Eliz." I sighed and took a deep breath.

"Fine." I said through gritted teeth. He smiled and pulled me out on stage, the whole crowd cheering.

"Everyone say hi to my beautiful girlfriend Eliz!" Vic said into the microphone as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders, staring out at the crowd, before looking at me and back to the crowd.

"HI ELIZ!" The whole room chanted, a small smile appearing on my face. A roadie tapped my shoulder and handed me a mic before running off stage. I wish I could too. Vic kissed my lips before running his fingers through his hair.

"Some of you may know this one, it's called Kissing In Cars." He said with a smile and the whole crowd cheered. I heard the band start to play the song and I gulped, my breathing beginning to get faster. I heard Vic start to sing the first few lines and I tried to find my voice but I couldn't. At the chorus, I finally started singing along, worried about how I sounded. Vic looked down at me and smiled, still singing. The song ended and everyone cheered, a smile spreading across my face.

"Thank you." Vic smiled at me, kissing my lips. I ran off stage while he started the next song. They sang a few more songs before running off stage. Vic handed his guitar to the roadie and picked me up, my legs wrapping around his waist.

"YOU DID GREAT ELIZ!" He screamed with a huge smile, hugging me tightly.

"Really?"

"Yeah! You killed it." Jaime said with a smile.

"You're a fucking amazing singer." Mike said.

"Thanks." I said, blushing a bit.

"Aww, you're blushing." Vic smiled, kissing my burning cheeks. "So, do you think you're going to be able to do this for the next three months?"

"We'll see." I smirked, kissing his lips.
