Walking through the silent streets

Caressing the cold lifeless wall

Roads made of hopes and dreams

Watching as the darkness fall.

I stare at the empty black sky

Having no idea of what I might find.

I hear no one, but something's passing by

Suddently a light glow bright, turning me blind

What is it? What can it be?

A silhouette,  a person, that's all I can see.

I walked closer, and now I'm shocked.

Little did I know, this person was me...

It's my reflection, can it be a dream?

but no, I'm wide awake it seems.

I stand there confused and speechless.

the only thing I can hear now is the loud silence....
