It came quick enough I guess.
They said I only had a few days to live after the crash.
I had make the choice to go for a ride that night.
He was drunk.
He was on the other side of the road.
I didn't even get a chance to get out the way.
He came right into the side of me.
I spun out onto the other side of the road. It wasn't bad.
I tried to get the car to start up again, but it wouldn't.
I got out. I yelled at the man as he speed off. I hopped back into the car and that's when it happened.
The truck came around the corner and slammed into me.
I screamed as my bones broke and glass impaled my skin and the car deformed into something that I now know as just scrap.
I blacked out as the pain took over.
I woke up 6 hours later in a white room full of people wearing blue.
"She's awake!" One of them shouted.
A tall man came over to me and started saying things I couldn't process because he was talking so fast.
I shook my head to tell him to slow down, but pain shot up my neck and down my spine.
I passed out once again.
The heart monitor beeped at my side as my youngest sister and my older brother held my hands, both fast asleep.
The family had told my everything I needed to know.
I knew one thing.
I was going to die soon and so did they.
All this pain will soon end.
No matter how hard I try, I will go.
Hot tears ran down the down the side of my face as I stared at the blank white celling.
This was it.
I was going down hill fast, my monitor slowing down to the single beep.
"Goodbye."
Darkness.
I breathed my final breath.
Only if i had of known.
