(A/n: This entire story will probably be in your point of view)
You had just moved to England. Your parents had stayed in America, but you were glad they didn't have to be shadowing you everywhere you go. They could be so overprotective sometimes! Either way, you had to call them and keep them updated on your new life in England.
You groggily sat up in your bed. It had been almost a week and you were getting used to your new home. But you still didn't know anyone in the neighborhood. You decided that you would go out and meet someone people and hopefully befriend them.
You hauled yourself off of the bed and stretched, hoping it would wake you up more. You finished stretching and trudged over to your bathroom, feeling a little more awake. The stretching had partially worked.
You opened the door to your bathroom and walked over to the toilet, rubbing your eyes and yawning. You did what you had to do and transitioned over to the sink. You pumped some soap onto your hand and washed your hands. You pick up the hand towel next to you and dried your hands. Then you grabbed the toothpaste and squeezed some on to your toothbrush and brushed your teeth.
You finished up your morning routine and headed over to your closet. You open the door and shifted through the many articles of clothing. If you were to leave a good impression and these people, you would have to dress appropriately. You just picked out a white T-shirt, some jean shorts, and a gray hoodie to put over it, since it was cold out.
You headed down the stairs and strolled into the kitchen. You made yourself some scrambled eggs and toast and quickly ate it.
You put your hair in a ponytail and skipped to the front door, you were excited about possibly making some new friends, even if you could be shy at times.
You swung open the door and walked out, a cool breeze hitting you. You were glad you had decided to were that hoodie, even if your legs were still cold. You reached the sidewalk and decided to head left.
After a couple minutes, you finally see a house with its lights on inside. It was still fairly early, so you weren't surprised it took you this long to find a house with at least one person awake.
You stopped short. If it was early then wouldn't it be rude to walk up to somebody's house and knock on their door? You just pushed the thought aside. You'd made it this far, you weren't just gonna turn around and head back home.
You approached the door and knocked. You heard some people talking. It sounded like they were arguing.
"What if I go and they want to hurt my face?" you heard a guy shout.
"Well, I'm not going so leave me out of this," another man said. He had a British accent, not surprisingly. You were in England, after all.
"I'll just go," yet another male's voice said. Then you heard some shuffling and the door opened. The man had a green hoodie, short brown hair, and a friendly smile.
"Hi!" you said, trying to be friendly. "I know it's a bit early and I'm sorry if I bothered you, but I'm new to England and was trying to make a friend or two," you rambled.
"It's okay," he reassured you. "I'm Edd. It's actually kinda nice to have someone new around here. So if anything, you're doing me a favor!"
"Oh, that's great then. I'm (y/n)," you smiled.
"My friends and I could show you around town, if you'd like," Edd offered.
"That would be nice, thank you," you nodded.
"Okay, I'll get the others," he closed the door slightly, trying to keep the cold air out, and fetched his friends.
You heard more talking and eventually, Edd opened the door again, with two more people standing on either side of him.
He turned to his left. "This is Matt."
"Hi!" Matt said. He had a light purple hoodie with a green overcoat, ginger hair, and a formidable chin.
"Hi!" You waved.
Edd turned to his right. "And this is Tom."
"Hey," Tom said, not really caring. He had a British accent, he must've been the guy from before. He had a blue hoodie, brown hair, and..... no eyes?
"Hi!" You smiled, trying to hide your surprise at his eyes, or lack of.
"So," Edd began, "let's show (y/n) around the neighborhood!"
"That sounds like fun!" Matt exclaimed. He grabbed your hand and hopped down the street.
"Hey, Matt, wait up!" Edd called and ran after you two.
"I guess I better follow them," Tom sighed and walked after the three of you.
