I was fully recovered and back in the action after that test run in the Virtuoso with Yellow Heart. Thankfully, she was so fast that she carried me to the medical ray in time. She really is the most powerful CPU in Gamindustri. Although, today she's been acting strangely different for some reason. I'd have to ask why the next time I see her. Right now though, I was walking around the capital city of Eden. I had an obligatory two days off today so I was going to unwind and relax the best I could...but how? What's the most relaxing thing for your whole body?...Full body massage? No...Spa? No...how about...a hot tub? Sure, I was out of options anyway. I arrived at the most high-end resort in the Nation and walked up to the receptionist.
-"Are there any hot-tubs available today?" I asked.
-"Of course! Today isn't really a busy day of the week so we usually have at least one available." She said.
-"How much for two days here?"
-"Do you work for the Basilicom?"
-"Yes, why?"
-"Basilicom workers get a 30% discount. Just hand me your work pass."
I got out my work pass from my wallet and she scanned it.
-"Alright, room #715. Towels are already in the room." The receptionist said as she gave me the room key.
I got into the elevator and went to to the top floor. I navigated through the long hallways and found room 715. I entered and took a look around. This was really high-end! Now I'm glad I had my work pass on me. This would be way too expensive without that discount.

Anyway, I should get what I came here for! I picked up the towel that was on the bed and went to the elevator again to reach the roof. The roof was completely empty; I was the only one here. I guess that was a good thing, I'd get to be alone. I got undressed and put on the towel before entering the tub. It took a second for me to get used to the heat but I eventually sat down on one of the seats. I let my head rest back and looked up to the night sky, dotted with shining lights. I simply let myself drift to sleep, kept warm by the water enveloping my body.

I slowly awoke to the very sudden sound of a jet flying very close overhead. I looked around to see that the sky was full of jets scrambling to take out mini drones flying around the city! What happened while I was asleep!? I quickly got out and changed back into my combat armor and put on my helmet. Ruby came online shortly after.
-"Welcome back Pilot." Ruby said.
-"Ruby, what's happening to the city!?" I asked in panic.
-"Scanning...I'm detecting a large amount of hostile nation militant forces invading the capital." Ruby said as I arrived back to the first floor with my weapon in hand.
I was about to leave when I remembered something. I turned back and walked towards the receptionist who was hiding behind the desk.
-"I'll be checking out now." I said as I tossed my key onto the counter.
