Melonie POV
August:"You always bleeding *laughs*
Before I could say anything there was a sharp pain in my lower back.
Me:"Ahhhhh! August P-Please ahh t-take me to th- *groans* the hospital."
August:"Mane *gets out the bed* Come on."
Me:"Are you gon help me up?"
August:"You asking for to much. You can't walk?"
By then I got mad so I tried to get up but failed miserably. August then snatched me up grabbed a towel and threw me over his shoulder and walks to the car. He laid the towel in the backseat threw me in the back and took his precious time to get in the car and drive off. I swear when I get to this hospital I'm running. I'm tired of this shit.
*hospital*
Doctor:"I'm sorry that I have to tell you this information but Ms. Siffers but............. You had a miscarriage and lost both babies."
My head snapped up did he just say both babies?
Doctor:"Um may I ask you some questions?"
I just nodded my head.
Doctor:"When I looked a babies they umm.......... they had uhh.... some bruises. Do you know how they got there?"
After he said that two police men came in. I got scared. I opened my mouth to answer his question but August cut me off.
August:"She had a staircase incident...... She uhh fell."
Doctor:" And Mr. Alsina where were you?"
August:"Um may I ask why is that any of your business Doc?"
Doctor: Because if my pregnant wife fell down the stairs I would've took her to the hospital. I haven't had any pregnant patients who fell down the stairs."
August:"First she's not my wife she my girlfriend. Second When she fell I was in the studio. And Third and lastly my mother is a nurse. So she was fine when she fell. I think you should mind your business."
Doctor:"Ms. Siffers do you want to go home with Mr. Alsina?"
I looked at August. He mouthed "you tell, you dead." I quickly turned my head to the doctor.
Me:"Yes doctor, I'm fine."
I gave a fake smile.
August:"Now that it is settled, when can she come home?"
Doctor:"I'll have her release papers done in the morning."
I could see he had a slight attitude. How did he know August hit me?
Doctor POV
I know it's weird for me to have a POV but there is something you should know about me. I am Melonie's father. I know that August is abusing her. First because she came here that time August beat her into a coma and I was her doctor. She doesn't know that I am her father. I haven't seen her since she was 5. Visiting hours are about to be over and I'll tell her who I am but first I gotta make a call.
*phone call starts*
???:"Hello Russel what is so important that you call me at 11 p.m.?"
Me:"well your daughter is in the hospital. She had a miscarriage and it seems she had been rapped and beaten. But she is scared to admit that August did it. You need to get down here and tell the police what he did to you."
Kristin:""Its too late."
Me:"Why you say that?"
Kristin:"Visiting hours Russel."
Me:"I'll tell the front desk to let you up and make sure August is gone call me when you get here."
Kristin:"Ok.... And Russel........."
Me:"Yes Kristin?"
Kristin:"I'm sorry for che-*gco*"
Me:"Now is not the time."
Kristin:"But....."
Me:"Bye."
*phone call ends*
That women is always trynna explain herself. You see I left because she had an affair with my brother. When she got pregnant she didn't know I I was the father or Ron when the test results came back she said it was Ron's baby. They were together but I was still in Melonie's life until she moved away from me with Melonie. 18 years later Ron called me and said congrats Melonie's yours. I was confused but he explained to me that she lied and said that she was his to get rid of me. Melonie was already grown and with August so I couldn't just come back in her life after all these years. Of course she would blame it on me but her mother never explained what happened so she thinks Ron is her father.  But that will be corrected tonight. I walk back in the room and she is wide awake.
Melonie:"Why do I feel like I know you ?"
Me:"Well...... I am yo-"
Just then Kristin walks in.
Melonie:"Hey momma. *sniffles* I thought you were dead."
Kristin:"I'm so sorry that I let this happen to you. You have to get away from him."
Melonie:"Doctor, can you give us a minute?"
Kristin:"Baby, there is something I need to tell you. Ummm..........He is ........ Um your uhhh.... f-father."
Melonie:"What...Your kidding me right?" You are joking?"
Kristin:".........."
Melonie:"Mom.............."
Kristin:"it's a long story.... I'll tell you later. I'm here for a more important reason. You need to leave August."
Melonie:"Its not as easy as it sounds he's not gonna let me go. He always finds me no matter where I go. And.........I love him. He was there when YOU put me outta your house when I graduated he gave me a place to stay."
Kristin:"I know but you have to leave him alone before............"
Melonie:"Before what mom?"
Kristin:"Before he....kills you. One day you are gone make him really mad and he's not gonna stop. This is the second time this year you've been in the hospital. I don't wanna lose my baby girl to a fucking psychopath so your coming home with me and that's final.............."
Melonie:"...... No mom I love him. I'm not leaving he's gonna change you'll see....... *whispers* He's gonna change.
Melonie POV
I know y'all think I'm stupid for going back but he will always find me and the beating will be worse than what he is already gin give me. He's gonna beat me all because of my "dad". So I just wanna get it over with.
Me:"I'm going back home with August."
Kristin:"No Melonie. You're coming home with me. And that's final."
I don't care what my mom say I'm not leaving with her. I'm sneaking out this hospital tonight.
*2 a.m.*

Me:"Hey Aug. Can you come get me please. My mom is trying to take me home with her."
August:*laughs*"Ain't that what you want."
Me:"No. I wanna come home with you. I don't wanna go with her."
August:"That's all I wanted to here baby. I'm on my way. Be ready when I get there."
Me:"Ok."
*Phone conversation ends*
August POV
Like I said no matter what she always runs back to me. Little does she know I got something for that ass when she get home. I got something for her momma and that doctor. Speaking of.............

???:"Wassam man. Been along time."
Me:"I know. But I need you to do me a favor. I need you to get rid of some people for me. There names are.............."
