The Unexpected Choices Of Love

It was five days ago when I found the death note and it wasn't long until I started ridding the world of these filthy criminals. Earlier tonight I met the Shinigami known as Ryuk, he explained the details of the death note, that of which I already knew. At first it was quite a surprise because I didn't expect him to show himself as soon as he did. It happened a few hours ago but its still fresh in my mind.

I just came home from killing a criminal by writing in the death note "accidental death" and his name, it was my way of proving that the death note was really true, previously that day I killed another criminal by just writing his name in the book. At first I thought it was just a coincidence but tonight that proved me wrong. When I got home I went to my room and went straight to my desk as I continued writing the names of previous criminals listed on the news. I heard a loud crack and jumped out of my chair, as I turned around I saw the shinigami known as Ryuk. He was tall and had black wings. He had an ear piercing that dangled on his left side. His hair was the color of midnight black and his mouth had rows of sharp, jagged teeth and his smile was stretched upon his face like it was more of a grimace than a smile. "I'm Ryuk" , he said. I responded with "I know."

It turns out Ryuk is a fan of apples and I've come to the conclusion that I'm the only one strong enough to kill those that are meant to rot in hell and know what's right and wrong. It's my responsibility to cleanse this world of evil, and once all that's left is innocent and kind people I shall become their God.

Falling asleep with that thought, I dreamt of having wings and being called savior of the world or even God some would say. As I woke up the next day I turned on the TV to watch the daily news for any new criminal activity, with my death note open and pen in my hand I was ready to kill another filthy scum, but before I could write anyone's name down a national broadcast from Interpol came on. A guy by the name of Lind L. Taylor was on TV and called me out by the name that has spreaded throughout the internet. "Kira, I will hunt you down and execute you, you may have killed many criminals but you're just as bad as they are, you're considered a murderer for killing all those criminals and I won't allow this evil to continue." I laughed and said out loud "You think you can hunt me down hahaha I am Kira and I can't be found let's see how you respond to this Lind L. Taylor." With the TV on and his face shown I wrote his name down and within forty seconds he collapses on national TV from the heart attack that is given to people who's names I've written down in the death note.

I scoffed before turning off the TV but the screen switched to just showing the letter "L" and the disguised voice said, "Ah, so my suspicions were right it seems you can kill people without being present and to inform you Kira, this was not broadcasted nationally but only in the region of Kanto so I now know which region of Japan you're in, thank you for the clues you've given me. By the way that man that you just killed, my double, he was convicted of a bank robbery many years ago...so why haven't you killed me yet? Surely you can can't you or is something wrong? It seems you have to see their face and name in order to kill them. So go on kill me." The TV shuts off as I stand there shocked that he is still alive and I've been fooled. That man I killed was not L but another criminal. Then I start to laugh and I look at the screen and say "Challenge accepted." I will bring justice and you will die by my hands L, be wary of that. But he is quite intriguing, considering he knows what I'm doing...too bad he has to die. Ryuk then looks at me with a gleam in his eyes and says "This has become quite interesting, he was able to fool you and now you challenge him." He starts to laugh and I then say "Show me what you got L."

Hey guys I back with a new story, this was a spur of the moment 😂 I started watching death note again and I started thinking "why hasn't there been a story shipped about these two" so I decided to start a story.
