"Yeah I'll see you soon," I mumble into the phone before pressing cancel, not waiting for Luke to say 'I'll see you soon,' also. I drop my phone on the grey and black granite counter top before running my hands over my face, before tangling them into my hair. Ever since Luke came back from tour he has always been busy. I understand that he is in an up and coming band, but leaving just at the crack of dawn and not even kissing your wife and kids goodbye is not difficult. It should also be quite easy since both of our kids are a spitting image of him.

Alexis and Caleb, from the time that they entered the world they looked exactly like Luke. The same strawberry blond hair that would make any person with fake dyed blonde hair drop their jaw and beg for that hair colour. The eye colours varied though, Alexis has the lightest shade of the three of them. The nice colour of a clear sky is what Alexis eyes looked like, every room that she walked into everyone's eyes were on her. From her hair to her eyes she was perfect, just like her brother Caleb. Except, Caleb had sapphire coloured eyes. You could easily be mesmerized with them, taking command in anything that Caleb wanted to do at the snap of a finger.

Sure, Caleb looked exactly like Alexis but the only thing that made them different was their attitude. Sure, Alexis looked like a kind hearted angel in front of a crowd but behind closed doors she was no were near innocent, well at least towards me. She isn't bad, it's just if you don't give her what she wants that is when she changes from the kind hearted angel to a spoil brat. Of course she wouldn't act this way in front of her papa, because she would get anything she wanted around Luke. Just from Alexis bottom lip jutting out when she doesn't get a Barbie doll, Luke would be at her feet at the snap of a finger.

"Baby," I hear Luke's husky voice breath against my neck, making my body jolt forward which makes my hip collide with the counter. "What the fuck Luke, don't scare me!" I exclaim, slamming my hand down on the counter while the other rubs my hip bone. "Sorry baby I forget," Luke mumbles before pressing sweet kisses down my neck. "Yeah you forget a lot of things," I state, before turning around and looking at Luke's 'Sheriff' clad chest.

"What's that supposed to mean?'" Luke speaks. I look up at him, his steel blue eyes already peering at me. I shake my head before huffing out a sigh and dropping my head to stare down at the white and black marble floor tiles. "Now, don't do that, answer me," Luke speaks while using his index finger and thumb to guide my eyes back to his. I close my eyes before opening them back up and staring into Luke's, while fumbling my bottom lip in between my teeth.

"It's just, Luke you need to be here. You need to be home more; every time I wake up in the morning you're not here, you don't even kiss your kids goodbye anymore, you just leave. I need you here Luke, I need you to help me with the kids and I know that it may be tuff sometimes but can you at least try and come home to spend time with your family that barely gets to see you," I speak before inhaling air after that long rant. I move my gaze away from the marble tile floor and to Luke eyes.

"Baby, I-I am so sorry, I didn't know you were feeling like this. You should have told me this before or I wouldn't have left so early in the morning, I would have stayed back and helped you with the kids. Okay, just tell me how you are feeling so we can avoid this," Luke states while staring down at me. A smile widens across my face before I lean up on my toes and pecking a kiss to Luke's lips. "Okay," I say while smiling. "Ugh stop trying to be like Hazel Grace," Luke chuckles while leaning down to my height.

"I am not trying to be like her," I huff out while puffing out my bottom lip and crossing my arms together over my chest. "I'm sorry baby, you're not trying to be like Hazel Grace," Luke smiles while gripping my thighs in his large hands and picking me up before placing me upon the granite counter. "You're trying to be like Augustus," Luke smiles before pecking my nose, I shake my head and before leaning into Luke's chest as he rubs small circles onto the bottom of my back.
