The last thing was bright green light with trees, I must’ve been in a park; and a splitting pain in my head. I was walking; floating is a better word for it. Everywhere I looked was a bright, white light. The air felt thick and light with a shimmer-like effect when I looked closely.

Suddenly when I looked down, it was like I was standing on a window looking down into the world. I could see the tops of skyscrapers and the shadows that the emergent in the forest cast over their canopy layer. I’m not sure where I was looking at but it seemed like I was on top of Sydney as there was a huge building which looks like a cream shell.

That’s strange as the last thing I remember was being in a park in Melbourne… Oh. Now I remember what happened. I had actually gone through with it, but something felt wrong when now that I look back.

I didn’t actually notice anyone around me which can be a very bad thing. All I can recall is swirling around in the sun’s bright light and admiring nature’s work, while I was trying to block out sounds of the world around me.  A little boy’s voice was heard first,

“Mum, Mum look at the strange lady”

Then a snappy girl’s tone,

“Shut up Jay, Mum’s on the phone can’t you see?”

“So? Can’t you see the lady? LOOK!”

“Jay- Jay, close your eyes. NOW”

“Huh?”

I couldn’t believe what I’d done, they just sounded like young children; the boy sounding no older than 11…

Suddenly the glass window zoomed into a particular spot in the Suburbs, until it stopped right in front of a house. With a mother rushing out from the door and a moody looking teenager sulking while her Mum was yelling at her on her way to the car.

While I was leaning, looking through the window, the window gave in and I was pushed out on to the middle of the road just as a car was coming and I was looking straight into the head lights.

But it didn’t run me over, instead it went right through me giving me the feeling that someone had just walked over my grave. It was all too much for me to just stand on the road feeling this weird sensation each time a car went by… or through.  I quickly ran over to the other side just as the car in front of the house was pulling off with the mother inside still yelling at her daughter.

I walked to the foot path outside the houses garden, and in the house’s window I noticed a young boy’s face staring at me, his face had gone completely white and his mouth was hanging open. A ringing sound filled me head and I heard a young boy’s voice over it.

“That’s the strange lady in the park! And she hurt herself with the toys I usually play with…”

It all made sense now; this is why I was put in front of this house. This was the boy who say everything, and that must’ve been his sister that got in the car. I was put her to help them for some reason, I don’t know that that reason is but I am guessing I am about to find out as he emerged from the front door and started making his way towards me.
