GARDEN
I TOLD YOU
MY DEATH
WOULD BE INSIDE
OF YOU.||
VIRGINITY. jagged stalks breathed along the tips of raging storms, now springstorm drizzling droplets that happened to be distinct of carmine; slowly dribbling over yoongi's lips, his thorns softened amongst namjoon's rosemary thighs swollen underneath the sunlight that creeped along the stem of the horizon, spilling chunks of golden mush against the caramel syrup. glistening below the rainy forefront stood yoongi, amber dampening the outsides of his pupils, fingers resting on the curve of namjoon's waist, wrapped underneath the soil now threading relief in the coughs nestled in the cluster in his throat. blonded forest, honeyed words catching the faintest sounds in yoongi's ears, as rough as the cracking whoosh of water emptying from the sky's seas, whisper small yet big, gapping with bloody huffs.
"promise me you won't let jimin take you too."
dreams rested incandescent and airy on his thrambium like mist, fog settling in the port of his belly like a teapot, boiling messily against the crumbling sand of the county. jimin's name whispered through the tufts of his blackberried strands like a summer wind; nothing could chill him more than the sweet desperation perpetuated in the soft circles numbing on his thighs. he watched his bones break like sticks underneath him; beauty didn't belong to him anymore.
the formation of dye in the curation of the rose's petals, the one with the sweet honeycomb cheeks and slack mouth of haziness, lay a sauntering scarlet brazen on yoongi's wandering mind, fingers gently caressing the thick patch of green resting on the top of namjoon's head. it slipped from the petals into the fat of his cheeks, transferring into namjoon's, now shy of his presence.
"jimin is nothing."
namjoon tasted a whiff of past winter, seasons playing with the shirt of his canvas. a gentle cerise painted him toxic, like the silhouette of rage trapped in the redness spreading in the beads of his knuckles. nestling his chin on the crevice of english rose's shoulder soft enough to be turned to mush, he threaded his thoughts into him so he wouldn't have any anymore.
"optimism is satisfying for those who wish to deny the truth, however, the beauty he possesses have swooned the weakest seen among us. he has something that'll deteriorate the strongest as well."
winter pierced yoongi's lungs and suddenly he began to wither. tassel bells chimed in resonance of their owner reentering the house, pale blue watering can perched and dripping yoongi swore was blood. a cool cerise formed on the block of his petals, he suddenly felt the lump in his throat and slung around namjoon's slouched frame, now sniffling.
"all you have to know is that i'll never leave you because beauty isn't found in possession, it's found in how you feel. i know he can't feel; he's too sharp to prick nothing but others."
the kiss echoed throughout the garden, whistling in the air as if a resurrection of hummingbird chimes.
as yoongi and namjoon buried themselves underneath the thick cake of the fertilizer, releasing hushed breaths deep enough to conjure the ocean's abandoned coral, scraping on the platters of their knees, the flowers gasped and jimin smirked in the distance, arm hooked around taehyung, breaths dissipated into thin condensation. he twirled his fingers in taehyung's roots and left a song on his lips, rolling over into the fields to walk.
"i just want to be pretty."
moonlight traveled through jimin's eyes and led him towards the patch of which the flowers remained, restless and watching as jimin slung himself over the closest flower he could see. lavender drowned him, but he giggled anyway.
