**Prologue**
The little girl with her My Little Pony pyjamas and pigtails hair could not understand why her mother was looking out the lounge-room window every ten minutes for. She thought it was because her daddy was coming home from work and her mummy was worry about him in this stormy weather.
The emotions raging on the beautiful figure woman was unknown to her daughter. How was a two years old girl suppose to know that her mother was in fear and worried for her daughter's life?
"Mummy, don't be sad, Daddy will come back" the little girl said holding her favourite teddy bear Mr Cuddle.
A set of beam lights shone through the window quickly, meaning someone drove into their driveway. Instead of happiness as the kid thought, fear took over her mother. The grown woman looked at her daughter and got on her knee as she spoke to her daughter.
"Rosie, listen to me. I want you to run to your room right now and hide, don't come out until I tell you to, ok?".
She didn't let the girl answer as she gave her a tight hug and kiss. "Mummy will always love you, now quickly go hide in your room". She gave the little girl a push "Run".
As soon Rosie was up the stairs the mother ran to the study room as quickly she could. She knew she hid the weapon here somewhere. 'Oh crap! Where did I put it, damn it' she thought to herself.
She search furiously through her stack of books and junks for the one thing she know that would possibly help her to keep her daughter safe.
"I know I've put it somewhere here" she whispered under her breath.
"Hello Mrs Campbell".
The woman stopped in her track as she heard the American accent coming from behind her. Fears strike her as hard, it couldn't be him. It can't. She was too late.
"Where is she, Jasmine?"
As the woman face the man that was standing at her doorway.
"She is... She's not here" she said braver than she actually felt.
In a flash of milliseconds, the man no longer at the door, but instantly right in front of her face. "You're lying" anger flared through him as he snared at the woman.
Her feet were lifted off the ground as she was thrown at the wall, causing her pains as her hips was injure from the impact and she was bleeding. The fearful creature closed his eyes as he concentrate on his senses.
Jasmine was wounded but it didn't stopped her attempt to reach her daughter Rosie..
It was useless though, as she didn't even reach the door when she felt the man went past her in a speed no normal mortal could achieve.

When her mother told her to run to her room and hide, Rosie ran upstairs to her room and was gonna hide under her bed. But she thought maybe her mother was playing one of hide and seek games with her.
'Mummy would definitely find me under the bed. I always hide there'. Rosie looked around for another spot in her room, when her eyes fell upon the closet door where all her clothes were in there.
In a matter of time she hid behind her big toys box that was on the floor in her closet. Time went on as she stayed hidden, and when she heard her bedroom door opened, Rosie let out a silent giggle. 'Mummy won't find me here' she thought smiling, proud of her hiding choice.
However, the smile didn't stay there as she realised it wasn't her mother that entered.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are".
It was a male voice that spoke not her mother. It wasn't her father either.
Now she was afraid to peek out and see who the person was, she stay putted where she was and close her eyes.
Whoever it was never entered the closet and after a moment of silent, Rosie opened her eyes and risked a look thorough the gaps of her door.
There was nothing there, just when she was about to open the closet door to peek out. What was nothing in the view out of the gaps now was a demon-like face, his eyes were orange, almost as if they were on fire, Two sharp pointy teethes were out, snaring at her.
Rosie stumbled back into her closet, scared and frightened by the monster that was out to get her, she started to cry, wanting nothing more than for her mother to come up and wake her up and say there's no such thing as monsters. Outside her closet there were rackets going on and sounded there was another person fighting with the scary man... What if it was her father? The monster might want to hurt him badly, Rosie cried even more knowing that.
Next thing she knew the door to the closet flew opened that it ripped off it's frame and the monster she saw before was reaching to grab the little girl and he almost did too.
"NOOOO, Don't you dare touch her"
Just a centimeter from touching her, the monster hand was suddenly pulled back as the second guy came between them and before he pushed the monster away, he knocked Rosie over and she felled back and hit her head, losing her conscious, she saw the rescuer was glowing. An light of an angel.
When she gained her conscious back. It was midnight and her room was dark, she couldn't see anything. "Mummy" she yelled as she tried to get up. But she couldn't as a hand was place on her shoulder and she was pushed back down in bed.
Frightened that the monster has came back she said "Please don't hurt me".
"Rosie, I'm not going to hurt you, sweetie".
It was a male, but a different voice to the guy that was here to get her. A gentle voice.
"Who are you?" She asked into the darkness, unable to see. "There's a monster here, I want my mummy".
"There's no more monster Rosie, he is gone. I won't hurt you, I'm a friend. Your mum is the hos--- she's at the doctors, getting better. If you go back to sleep, she will be here when you wake up".
"But I'm scared to sleep. What if monster come back?" Rosie said in a frighten voice.
Rosie felt her bed shift as she assume the guy that was there got up and moved closer, he lift the little girl from her bed and held her in his arms, soothing her nerves. "The bad monster is gone forever. I will protect you from all the bad things, ok?" he said. "I know you like your unicorns, do you want to see them?".
"Unicorns? Where?" the little girl asked.
"In your sleep. I can give you magic like Tinkerbell do, but instead of the power to fly, you can see pretty unicorns in the clouds. Would you like to see them?"
Rosie, excited now, nodded, but she didn't think he saw her nods so with excitment she says "Yes PLEase!"
Chuckling, the guy said "Ok, here it come". Rosie waited to see the unicorns but instead first she saw silvery sparkly dusts shining in the air, some falling on her nose and cheeks. She let out a small giggle. "That's ticklish" But a few seconds later, she became sleepy and tired. And before she dozes off to sleep, she thought she felt someone place a kiss on her forehead and heard the guy said "Sweet Dreams, I will always be watching over you".
