"(Y/N), I've got a case for you." Lestrade said as he approaches your desk. "Sure, Lestrade. What do you got?" You asked him. "A mountain puma escaped in transit through Primrose Hill around three thirty afternoon and disappeared. Rescued years ago from a Mexican circus. Has done this route from the sanctuary to the zoo many times with no problems." He said as he hands you a file.

"We evacuated a nearby park and playground and told everyone to stay indoors. We can't use dogs to track her--we have to find her ourselves, and fast!" He continues as you okay through the file:

Name: Lyra

DOB: 3/11/2001

Gender: Female

Notes:

Peruvian mountain puma, 12 years old.

Rescued three years ago from Mexican circus, when her magician owner died.

Was in poor, mistreated state when arrived but has been happy and healthy in a sanctuary outside London for years now.

No known illnesses or injuries.

"Hmm, interesting. Okay I'll take it." You said as you close the file and look up at Lestrade. He sighs with relief and said. "Thank you." He goes and grabs a paper and hands it to you. "Take a look at this map showing where the escape took place. Take notes of where the cat might be hiding once you get there." He said and you nod at him.

You look over the map he drew out for you and look it over while walking around the area. "Okay so the cat escaped here." You muttered to yourself as you point at the spot that was circled and labeled Escape point.

"And the notes said she ran west." You said then looked west and headed I that direction. It lead you to a school where you saw a caretaker outside. You approach him and ask what he saw. The caretaker said he saw a big cat running west through there, so you headed west.

You make your way to the Gardens, and talked to a resident there, she said she saw a cat turn tail and go south east. "So south east leads to.....the park." You said and you head towards the park and look at the notes you were giving that said that lots of kids were at the park and both the cat and the kids were terrified of each other.

"But it says the cat either ran south or east, depends on who your asking. Then at a nearby playground some kids said the cat ran into the trees." You muttered. You headed towards the woods and looked around there for awhile.

Finally you find some paw prints in the dirt. "Hmmm. The way the indentations of the prints look suggest the cat ran east to the railway line. Oh no!" You thought as you head over to the railway the  towards the tunnel entrance.

"That's where she is, but she could be anywhere by now!" You said when your phone goes off. "Sergeant  (y/n)." You answered. "(Y/N), the keeper who was with the cat when it escaped has come out of surgery. She might be able to explain what happened. She's over at Barts." Lestrade said. "Thanks Lestrade. By the way I think I know where Lyra is." You replied.

"Where?" He asked. "In the nearby tunnel entrance of the railway." You said as you head towards the street and flag down a cab. "Christ! Well, get over to Barts as soon as possible. We need to get that cat out!" He said. "I'm on my way." You said and you hang up as you get into the cab and head to Barts.

"Excuse me, ma'am. Are you the zookeeper of Lyra?" You asked the woman, Angela, as you approach her room. "Yes I am." She replied. "I'm Sergeant (y/n) Holmes and I was assigned to find Lyra. Do you know what happened? Or why she took off like she did?" You asked. "It was all so fast. Out of nowhere, Lyra went crazy, scratching at the floor and the bars, and then she attacked me when I tried to calm her down. I thought she might have smelled another big cat, but she's used to animal scents in the zoo." She said.
