Moon watched as the love of her life took off for Kanto. Lillie, the daughter of the President of Aether Paradise, was leaving to become a Pokémon trainer. Moon supported her ambition, but deep down was very sad she was leaving, after all they had been though. Lillie, after all, was Moon's first friend and first crush. When you lose someone close, it hurts. It hurt the most for Moon, considering everything they had been through and everyone they had met. They sat on the dock, Moon, Hau and Professor Kukui, lost in their thoughts. Hau was crying, and Moon wanted to as well, but she felt too numb to cry.
"Aue, it's late..." Kukui broke the silence. "We should go home, yeah?" He stood up, gesturing to Moon and Hau.
"Right. You coming Moon?"
"I'll be fine, I need a few." She answered.
"Alright. I'll be back, yeah?" Kukui led Hau away from the docks, giving Moon a kind look. Once they left, Moon looked up at the sky, the tears finally falling.
"Wherever you go, you'll do great."
