Adelaide was a bit confused as to what was the hype of this dance. She couldn't comprehend as to why it was a necessity to look better than the rest, it's just music.

"The eighties weren't even that great anyways." Adelaide spoke furrowing her eyebrows, she had on one of Alaric's shirts. This far into the week and she was positive that the group assumed the both were dating. Or at least, mingling. It's amazing how Niklaus' acting skills grew. Entertaining, to say the least.

Klaus laughed at his sisters comment and agreed, "very much so but we do have to attend. You should run along though, see how the team is doing. My witch should be here with my body in no time."

Adelaide nodded and slid off the sofa to take off the shirt. She walked inside of the bathroom and slid on one of the shirts Elena let her borrow, she pushed her curls behind her shoulders and walked out. "You'll erase me from his mind right. In order to keep - whatever this is - going."

Klaus smiled and nodded before walking over to Katerina, "let's have some fun."

-
Adelaide walked inside of the Salvatore home and was soon bombarded with the question of where Alaric was. She scoffed and took the drink in Damons hand, "I don't know and frankly. Don't even care. Thanks for the drink Danielle." She said softly taking a small sip of it before lifting her glass up towards Damon, "cheers."

Damon rolled his eyes and took the drink back from the originals hand. "Anyways. We should all get ready for tonight. Klaus is coming. Tonight we finish this." Stefan said breaking the silence. Adelaide sat on the sofa and stared at them all, "I've never been to a school dance and I can already tell this ones going to wreak of pure boredom." She groaned pouting her bottom lip like a child.

-

Elena was inside of Stefan's bedroom. They were both looking through a box filled with souvenirs of Stefan's from the eighties. "What do you think of Adelaide?" Elena said softly while rummaging through the box of clothes. "She's alright. She bothers Damon a lot, makes it a whole lot better." Stefan spoke softly looking up to see Elena lost in thought. "You think Damon likes her? I mean we have had our guesses of Alaric dating her but obviously she could care less about him."  She said turning towards Stefan causing for him to shrug, "all I know is that tonight we are going to finish this and hopefully get rid of her. Now let's go to that dance." He said pressing a soft kiss against her temple before he stepped back, "you're going to have to dance with me." She laughed before Stefan quickly negated her demand.

-

Walking inside of Damon's room, Adelaide wore her attire for the dance. A black dress that hugged her slim figure and her signature stilettos. "I remember having a crush on a man who never failed to dance splendidly on the dance floor. He was a looker too," she spoke softly twirling the glass on her hands in a circular motion. Damon popped up from the bathroom, his eyes trailing over her figure. Adelaide on the other hand was too focused on the drink to realize his actions, "stop reminiscing and let's get on with the show."

Adelaide rolled her eyes and followed Damon out of the house. Klaus had gone over with her about the plan and she could care less. She was happy playing friend, yet like all play times -

They get boring.

At the dance, Adelaide was standing beside the punch bowl. A glass of cheap koolaid dancing inside her cup while she swirled it around like she did with a nice whiskey. She wasn't having the best time of her life but Elena was sure having fun.

Adelaide wasn't the type to dance anyways, she was more of an observer. The one to gaze at her prey, beautiful boys having the time of their lives. Prey. Out of the corner of her eye she could feel the presence of her brother take hold of the scenery. She knew very well that the book was just about to begin.

She pushed her hair to her shoulder and walked over towards Damon along with the illustrious Elena. "Hey there cherries, mind if I cut in?"

With annoyance and great patience, Damon allowed her to cut in. Adelaide moved around a bit while her eyes remained on the infamous Alaric. She tilted her head to the side and smiled at the two, "well you both are quite a bore. I might as well should've stayed in Alaric's stupid history class." Adelaide muttered rolling her eyes and finishing off her tasteless koolaid. "We wouldn't be so boring if you just stayed longer!" Damon joked looking at Elena with a soft wink while Adelaide stepped away. "And I thought Klaus was an egotistical jerk."

Soon after her short departure from Elena and Damon she met up with Alaric taking another swig from her red koolaid. She licked her lips then turned to her brother, "So. Are you going to make your move and man up or shall I get my hands dirty. Hm?" She spoke blankly while handing the rest of her drink to a teen girl. Adelaide smiled at the glaring girl and tilted her head to the side, "groovy."

"Now, now sister. The fun's just about to begin."
