I held on to David tight as we walked down the stairs and too the door that led to there backyard. I am going to die. The girls will be angry with the Alpha for claiming a rogue as a mate. There will probably even be a bitter ex. I'll just tell David I'm sick so I can't attend.... No...that would be cheating and I have to meet them eventually so the sooner the better.

I felt a squeeze on my hand causing me to look up at David. "Don't be nervous Scarlett. Everyone will love you and if they do anything to you just tell me, Kayla or Justin and we will fix the problem. Okay?" David said as we stood in front of the door. I smiled slightly and nodded.

'Stop worrying everything will be fine. Nobody is stupid enough to mess with the Alpha's mate and if they are then we can fuck them up like never before!' Sa'nia said excited. She is always excited about fighting back. I don't care for violence much because of my years of being abused.

"By the way, Scarlett you look beautiful." David said smiling at me proudly. I blushed and opened my mouth in shock. No one has ever called me beautiful before and it meant a lot coming from my mate. I smiled but before I can say thank you he had opened the door and pulled me out into the big backyard.

It was HUGE! There was a swimming pool, a porch, a small playground and fifty picnic tables. There were over three hundred people in this pack! Little kids were running around playing games with each other. There were people of all ages laughing and catching up. They looked like a big happy family and it warmed me on the inside. I looked at David to find he was already looking down at me. He smiled at me nervously and gave him a big grin in return.

I turned back to the people and looked for Kayla. When I spotted her and Justin, I pulled David to them. "Hi Kayla! Hi Justin!" I said excitedly waving at them. I probably looked like I escaped the mental house how I was waving like a dying hippo. I need help..."Hey, Scarlett. You seem excited today." Justin said laughing lightly while his mate hugged me.

"I am excited! Seeing this pack together smiling and being a happy family makes me feel excited and warm all over. It makes me feel loved even though there's no love directed to me." I said smiling and looking around. David gave me a slight hug making me feel even warmer inside.

"I'm going to get us some food. You can sit at a picnic table and I'll find you." David said softly to me. I nodded and watched as he and Justin walked off. I grabbed Kayla's hand and dragged her to an almost empty table.

"I'll be right back. I have to go to the bathroom. If Justin comes back and asks where I went, tell him for me. Thanks!" Kayla said releasing my hand and leaving quickly. She seemed in a rush, she was holding it for a long time. I thought laughing to myself.

"So, if it isn't the little rogue bitch who claims she's the Alpha's mate. Well, your not I am so you better stay away bitch before I beat your fucking ass! Got it?" threatened a nasal-ish voice to me. I looked up and found the person speaking to me so harshly. It was a tall intimidating woman. If it wasn't for the harsh scowl she would be beautiful. She had boob's that boy's probably adore. The longer I studied her, the deeper her scowl got. "Does the cat have your tongue or are you too stupid to reply? Or have you finally realized that your too much of a freak to be the Luna of this pack? To be honest it doesn't matter cause I am going to be the Luna no matter what!" Before I could say anything the girl slapped me in the face.

'Oh nooooo that bitch didn't I am about to beat this bitches ass to next week!' Sa'nia said causing me to laugh hysterically out loud. "So you must think you can beat my ass..?" I said to the bitch that just slapped me.

"My name is Shanae and you better learn it 'cause I WILL be your Luna!" Shanae screeched at me. Shake my head, this girl doesn't know what I am about to do to her! These people will have to DRAG me off that bitch because it I about to be a throw down!

"Well, Shanae I don't think you should have messed with me... I mean I have a LOT of pent up anger in me and you just made yourself my mother fucking punch bag! Goodnight." I said to her in a crazily evil voice.

I punched as hard as I could in the nose, laughing when I heard it break under my hand. 'Beat that ass, Scar!' Sa'nia shrieked excitedly. I pushed her to the floor and quickly straddled her. "Don't." Punch, "Fucking." Punch, "Mess." Punch, "With." punch, "Ever." punch "Again." I hit her really hard knocking her unconscious. I jumped off of her and wiped her blood off my hand. When I looked up I was looking into the eyes of mate.

Shit, I didn't think this through. This isn't me, when did I ever become violent? Now he's definitely going to reject me. Who wants a violent Luna? No one! My life is officall-

I was cut off by a smile from David. What is he smiling about? I just beat one of his pack members unconscious. That is nothing to smile at. "What...?" I asked in a whispery voice. Before he could answer the pack burst into spirited applause. I looked around confused.

"You just beat the pack's whore. She was rude to everyone, bullied people and tried to get with David ALL the time. Everyone's happy someone finally stood up to her. They were all sure she was the Luna because that's what she claimed to be." Kayla said smiling proudly at me.

"Well she's not." I said simply looking back at David.
