Mike POV

I ain't even go to school the next day ,I was paranoid. I felt like a nigga was out to get me and if he is den he must be crazy.

"Not going out today" my pops asked as he came in my room,I was drawing random shit .

"Nah I am ,just not right nah" I answered,I saw him look at my gun that I rested on my dresser and he walked in,sitting on the couch in my room.

"I know about the drive by ,and all I'm saying is be careful out dea and if these niggas wanna start some shit them you betta finish it" he told me ,he stood up and left shutting the door.

I looked at the time band it was 3:00,school would be done ended in 15 more minutes. I grabbed my phone to text nijah but I already had a text from her.

Her: you good?

Me: yea ,I just ain't feel like commin,y u miss me

Her:maybe,just text me when u nor coming so I won't be worried.

I stared at the text for a while,shawty was worried bout me? No female that I ever fucked with worried bout me,they ain't hit me up asking if I'm good . it was always some else.

Before I could text back she was calling me,which reminded me that she was suppose to call me yesterday.

"Hello" I said.

"U OK " she asked

"Yes ma ,u asked me dis already" I told her. It got silent on her side of the line before she sighed.

"Yea I know but I wanted to hear you say it" a feeling that I wasn't used to started in my chest .

"I'm good ,wea u at "

"In the bathroom. I know about the drive by " she said. I don't know why but it bothered me that she knew.

"Oh " is all I could say m she busted out laughing .

"Its OK mike ,just be careful I gotta go"

"See ya lata "

We hung up and I threw my phone on the bed,but not to long after it pinged with a text.

Her: I'm hungrryy😅😅

Me:I'll pick ya up and take ya somewhere

Her:anywhere?

Me:yeah

Her:well come on the bell just ranged.

I got up and slid my feet in my Nike slides sense I already had on socks and grabbed my keys. I grabbed my glock and stuffed it in the front of my pants.

"Pops I'm out " I yelled .

"If u going to get food bring me back some fries "

I walked out and hopped in my baby ,I blasted g herbo as I drove to school . when I pulled up in the parking lot for students I spotted nijah instantly . she was wearing green pants with rips on her left thigh and a rip on her right nea ,white tank top with a light blue jean jacket  , and cinnamon colored pumas .

I stepped out the car and that's when she noticed me ,she ran to me and wrapped her arms around me ,I was shocked at first but I hugged her back. It felt right to have ha arms wrapped around me .

"You missed me huh" I teased. She let go and slapped my chest.

"What evaaa ,now let's go I want some Wendy's "she said cheesing.

"Fat ass"

She smiled and shrugged as I opens the car door ,she climbed in and I shut the door. When I cut the car back on g herbo blasted through the speakers and I turned it down so I could here ha talk.

"Yo car sexy as fuck in the inside"she said running her hands over the dash board.

"You sexy to"I told her. She gt quiet after that and I laughed.

"What you getting at Wendy's"I asked.

"I don't know yet,I just know I want it"

I busted out laughing,ain't nobody make me laugh really but here she go making a nigga laugh and wasn't even trying .

We pulled up to wendys and hoped out.

"Omg everything look good"she said . I chuckled as we came up to the chash register.

After she ordered we sat at a table ,her drinking her vanilla milk shake and me watching her

"Whatttt"she said. I shook my head nun den looked at her milk shake.

"Lemme get some"I said. She looked at me den slid it over ,I too a long ass sip and went to hand it back but she shook her head.

"If I drink more IMA be to full to eat "she said. I nodded and continued drinking it. When her order was called she went got the bag and we left.

"What you doing when you get home"I asked. I had nun to do but get high and make songs and shit .

"Nun finna fuck up this food and watch TV,u wanna come in wit me"she asked. We pulled up on the curb outside her house and sat their.

"You home alone or some?"I asked,I'm tryna see where she getting at ,is she da type to wanna fuck around or is she really just tryna chill.

"Hell no,my brothers here and my momma probably in her room studying sleep"she said in a duh tone.

"Ight"I said. We got out and a lil boy with dreads dressed in a tank top and some gym shorts came running out the house.

"NY NY! Eze tryna hit me"he yelled. Eze came out the house and grabbed the lil boy.

"Wussup mike"he said.

"Wussup"

We walked in the house and she led me upstairs and into her room. She plopped down on the bed and pulled out her food ,she cut the TV on and started watching spongebob.

"You a big ass kid"I said,I layed down next to her and took one of her fries. I looked up at the ceiling and it was filled with pictures.

"So nigga sponge Bob my friend"she said and busted out laughing.

"Who that"I asked pointing at her ceiling. She looked up and the mood in the room changed.

"Oh that's my dad"she said. By the way she reacted I can only assume he dead.

"I ain't mean to make ya cry"I said ,I saw her wipe her face and laugh.

"Its OK I'm just being a emotional ass"

I busted out laughing and took one of her fries ,she stopped laughing and hit me on my chest.

"Don't think I ain't see yo ass taking my shit"she said.

"Well you was taking to long to eat them mfs."

She mugged me and I busted out laughing,her mug was cute and deep down I knew I was falling for her but I wasn't ready to admit that yet,everybody I get close  to or love always end up leaving me in some type of way and even though we not together I knew I couldn't let nun happen to her .
