The Word of God

In the beginning...

I was born.

Not what most of you expected to hear, but hearing much of what I say will not be easy for those of you with long-held and cherished beliefs. You may have difficulty making any sense at all of much I tell you, because it will be so contradictory to your preconceptions and all you've been taught.

Some of you are so entrenched in your beliefs that you will continue to insist you know me better than I know myself.

I hear many of you protest, "Don't tell me what I believe!" But, who else would know that better?

Of course, many of you haven't listened for years and didn't expect to hear my voice at all. Some of you are the most surprised to hear my words. As always, most of you will continue to disbelieve, and will refuse to accept these words as mine.

None of this changes the truth of me one iota.

I did not create the Universe. I exist within it. I am not what any of your modern religions define as "God." I did, however, create the tiny part of the Universe where you exist, what you think of as everything and call the universe. If you insist on a title, of those used in the past, "Creator" is the most accurate. "Father" is a name I long to hear, but it would not be appropriate to address me so, as yet.

The Universe is far larger, older and more complex than you've yet to imagine. There are many of these tiny objects you call the universe, but these universes are all parts of one much larger Universe. Think of your universe as merely one tiny sparkle of light in a galaxy of sparkling lights. So far as I know, there is only one Universe, but even what I have come to consider the Universe may, in fact, be only one of many within a still greater UNIVERSE.

I was born, in a universe much like your own... longer ago than you can possibly imagine. I grew up and once had a life much like your own.

I did not invent sex. I can't take credit for that. It predates me, but it is one of my favorite things.

I did not invent sin. That is entirely a creation of your own.

I hear your brains boiling over with questions. All in good time.
