THE TWINS

PART TWO

I've had some rest now. I'm already prepared for the explore so I'm meeting Harry so we can start our explore. Almost all the students are also ready for the explore.
"Harry,I'm ready can we go now". I say to Harry.
"Yes we can." He replies.
So we're off to the forest to explore. We've spend few hours in the forest and within these past hours we saw different kinds of beautiful animals like zebra,birds among others as well as different kinds of trees.
"Harry! Look over there,it's a wolf!" I scream.
"Calm down,we shouldn't let it see us,let get out of here." He said to me in a low,soft voice.
"Alright."I reply.
"Oh no! It has seen us, it's coming after us,run Harry!" I scream whiles running.
Harry follows me. We run to hide at a back of a tree.
"It's like I've seen a cave over there,let's run into the cave." Harry suggests.
So we run into the cave,waiting to see whether the wolf will find us. It didn't find us.
"I think we can go now,the wolf is gone. Please wait! It's like the cave is deep,can we go deeper into it?" I say.
"Yeah,let's go." He says.
"It's like someone have lived here before."I say.
"You're right!" He says.
As we move to the deep part of the cave,we find old looking clothes, bag and a blanket.
Harry: Can we go now?
Me: Yeah!
So we've moved out of the cave and we're continuing our explore. We've reached the middle of the forest. It's 6 o'clock in the evening and by the time we get back to the camp it will be getting to midnight but since we can't sleep in the forest,we're moving back to the camp.
It's about several hours since we left the forest,we've just reached the camp. All the students are back from the explore because all the explorers are supposed to be back at the camp at midnight. There's a rumour that two students are not back from the explore. I and Harry are in our tent. I can't rest because I don't like the rumour I'm hearing. I must see the camp leader immediately.
Me: Hello,Mr Walter.
Mr Walter: Hello,how're you?
Me: I'm good thank you. Please is it true that two students are not back from the explore?
Mr Walter: It's true,two students are not back,but we can't disclose their identity to the students now. All of you we're supposed to be back before midnight. It's already passed midnight but they're still not back.
Me: Why can't you disclose their identity to the students?
Mr Walter: We don't want you guys to worry too much about them,we know they would be back very soon.
Me: Please,I think we should start searching for them,right now!
Mr Walter: We can't start searching for them now. We should wait till morning,if they don't show up,then we go in search for them.
Me: We don't know what's happening to them. We can't just wait for them till morning,please let's do something, please.
Mr Walter: I'm sorry,we can't do anything about it now,we must wait till morning.
Me: Alright,thank you for your time.
Mr Walter: You're welcome!
(I left Mr Walter's tent)
I'm in my tent right now thinking of these missing people. I don't even know them but I can't stop worrying about them. "I can't believe this! How can we wait for them till morning. I must find a way to help them.
I think I should go search for them myself!"
After thinking about of how to help find them,I pick every possible tool I need for the search and move out of the tent without letting anyone see me. I hurriedly walk through the trees. It's night so every part of the forest is extremely quiet. (Hours later)I'm now in the thickest part of the forest but I've not seen anyone. I suddenly hear someone scream,so I'm trying to trace the area the scream came from.
"Hello,is anybody here!" I shout this several times.
I hear someone scream for help again,so I continue to trace the area the scream came from.
I think I'm close to this person screaming, so I shout"hello" to see if someone will respond.
"Help! Help! Please,we're over hear!" Someone shouts continuously.
I then rush to where this person is shouting from. I realize that there is a very deep hole and it's from the hole the scream is coming from.
"Hello,is someone in there?!" I shouts.
"Yes,please we're in here,help us,please!" Someone shouts.
" Alright,hold on" I reply without knowing what to do to get them out.
"Yeah,I brought a rope" I say happily.
"I'm throwing a rope into it please hold it and let me pull you out." I say to them.
"Alright,thank you!" They say.
I throw the rope into it,one of them holds and I try to pull this person out. I finally pull her out to find out that she's Nicky,the girl I saw this morning who looks just like me. There's still another person in the hole,so I throw the rope into it and we pull a guy out. They look very weak and tired. They thank me and we start our journey back to the camp,whiles they tell me what happened to them.
"Thanks again" the guy says.
"You're welcome."
"I'm James and you?"he asks.
"I'm Nicole"I reply
"Nice to meet you,Nichole."he says.
"Same here"I reply.
"Thanks again,Nicole. As we were walking through the trees,I  stepped on some grass on the ground not knowing it was covering a hole. So I fell into it and as James tried to pull me out,he fell in too."Nicky says.
"Oh,I'm so sorry,but are you all alright?"I say.
"Yes,I am but I feel a little pain in my leg"Nicky says
"You'll be okay,don't worry."I say.
"I'm alright". James says.
"That's good,we must hurry to the camp because I didn't tell anyone that I'm coming to search for you."I say.
"Alright,but why didn't you tell anyone?"Nicky asks.
"I didn't tell anyone because, Mr Walter told me that they couldn't do anything about it unless they wait till morning. He also said they won't not tell us who you are right now. I just couldn't wait till morning, so I came in search of you without letting anyone know. And I'm happy I found you and you're alright."
"I don't know how to thank you,Nicole,thanks a lot." She said
"You're welcome."I say.
We're moving hurriedly back to the camp. And as we reach few kilometers away from the camping site,we hear some voices. We draw a little closer to the camp and there stand all the camp leaders and some students. They are actually talking about me.
"What should we do? Should we wait here till they leave."Nicky asks.
"No let's go."I say.
We arrive at the camp and everyone suddenly stops talking and stares at us.
"Where have you been? We've searched everywhere for you."Mr Walter says.
"I went in search for them."I reply.
"What! Alone in the night! Why did you do that? That was dangerous!" Mr Henry,one of our camp leaders says to me.
"I know,but I couldn't wait! Please, I'm sorry if I have flouted your rules but I had to."I say.
"Alright, how and where did you find them?"Mr Walter asks.
"I found them in a very deep hole in the thick forest."I reply.
"I see,thanks for helping them. We're so sorry we couldn't help you guys. It's almost morning, you should go get some rest."Mr Walter says.
"Alright!" I say, and all of us are off to bed. I feel so relaxed and happy.
(Few hours later)
I open my eyes, and it's morning, wow! I take my bath,put on some cloths and gets something to eat. Nicky enters my tent and sits beside me on my bed.
"How're u today?"she asks.
"I'm good and you?"I asks.
"I'm good"she reply.
"Thanks again for what you did for us yesternight."she says.
"You're welcome again. It's okay,you don't have to mention it again because I did what I thought is right to do and I'm glad we're all good."I say.
"I just can't believe you risked your life for us."she says.
"It's okay. Anyways,how's James?"I asks
"I've not seen him this morning, I think we should go and check on him,would that be okay by you?"she asks.
"Of course,that would be okay by me!"I say.
As we get up to leave,James enters the tent.
"How're you girls?"he asks
"We're good and you?"I and Nicky asks.
"I'm good too. Anyways,I want to thank you for what you did for us yesternight."he says.
"You're welcome! And please you shouldn't mention it again, that was what I could do to help,and I'm glad I did it."I say.
"Can we be friends?" Nicky asks me.
"Yeah,can we be friends?"James also asks me.
"Of course we can,in fact we're friends already, aren't we?"I say it with a smile.
"Yes,we are friends already."they reply with a smile.
"Alright girls,I have to go now,I have to get something done,I'll see you later."James says.
"Alright,see you later."we respond.
"May I know more about you?"I ask.
"Sure!,I'm Nicky Anderson, eighteen years of age. I stay with my dad."She says.
"What about your mum?"I ask.
"I've never seen her before,I don't know where she is and whenever I ask my dad about her,he tries not talk about her. All he tells me about mum is that she's a good woman and she loves me. I'm still hoping that I'll get to meet her someday. I really wanna be with her."Nicky says.
"Do you have any siblings?"I ask
"I can't tell,but my dad hasn't married any woman since he left mum,so I'm the only daughter living with him now."she reply.
"Oh,I see. It's like both of us have similar stories. I'm Nicole Anderson,eighteen years of age. I live with my mum. I've never seen my dad before and I don't know where he is. My mum also doesn't wanna tell me about my dad.
All I know about him is that he's a good man,but I don't know why he left. My mum hasn't married again and so I'm the only daughter living with her now."I say.
"So can you tell me your date of birth?"she asks
"I was born on 1st January,1999. In the morning."I reply.
"Wow! We have the same date of birth! I was also born on 1st January,1999. In the morning."she says.
"Well,can I see a picture of your father?"I ask.
"Yes,here is it."she gives it to me.
"This is my dad! My mum gave me some of his pictures." So I take the picture of my dad I have with me and compares it to the picture Nicky has just given to me and I and Nicky just realizes that her dad is also my dad.
So I show my mums picture to Nicky and she also shows me the picture of her mum. And surprisingly,my mum is also her mum.
"I'm so excited to know that you're my twin sister!"I say.
"Yes,I'm so excited! I have a twin sister! She shouts.
We hug each other so many times and just can't stop expressing our joy. We chat for hours,telling each other about ourselves and about our parents. Nicky suggests that we do the same hairstyle. So we're doing it. We've just finished doing our hair.
"Wow! We really resemble each other."I say.
"Yes,we really resemble each other! Wow!"she says.
"I want our family to come together again."I say.
"Yes,me too. So what should we do?"she asks.
"Let's figure out something before the camping is over,okay."I say.
"Alright" She says.
"Yeah,I have an idea. What if we convince them to have dinner with us and plead with them to tell us what happened and also beg them to come together."I suggest.
"I think that will help bring us together, let's try to work that out."she says.
"Okay,we will."I say.
After this chat,we walk out of the tent and as soon as we walked out of the tent,all the people outside begins to stare at us in surprise. Everyone is asking us whether we are twins or related. And of course we tell them that we're twins. We then hang out with our friends for some hours. All my friends and hers are still in surprise after we made them know that we're twins.
Harry: Nicole,we're all very happy to know that you have a twin sister.
Me: Yeah!
Harry: Nicole,why didn't you tell us you were going in search of them,we would have gone with you. You made us very worried.
Me: I'm really sorry I didn't tell you guys. And I really appreciate your concern. Thanks.
Harry: It's alright,we are glad that you're all back safe and sound.
I and Nicky continues to hang out with our friends and indeed we're having a great time.
(Several days have passed)
The camping will end today,so we'll be going home tomorrow. And indeed,the camping has been great,it has been fun. The days activities went on smoothly,it's night right now so all of us have gone to bed.
(Hours later)
It's morning,the camping has ended,all the campers are to go home. I say good bye to my friends and my twin sister and we promise to stay in touch since they have my contact and I also have theirs. I,Prince,Harry and Nicholas then joins the rest of the students to starts our journey back home. We first got into a boat which took us to the bus stop,the bus then took us home.
"Hello mummy! I'm home!" I say.
As soon as I and my mum saw each other,we ran to hug each other happily.
"Welcome sweetie!,I missed you!"she says.
We had a long chat in which I told her almost everything that happened at the camp but I didn't tell her that I met my twin sister at the camp. She also told me everything that happened while I wasn't home. After this,I've left to my bedroom to rest. After resting, I call Nicky,so we start setting out the plan to bring our family together.
(Few days later) Finally,we've succeeded in bringing our parents together for dinner. In surprise, they realize that we've already met each other.
They've now decided to tell us why they separated. Our father have decided to do the talking, so we're listening.
"It all started when I had a job in Spain and had no option than to accept the job because that was the only means I could take of my family that time. At that time you were one year old. Your mum didn't want me to go and I also didn't want to go as well but I had no option. She didn't want us to move to Spain together. And I also didn't want your mother to be the only one striving hard to fend for the family. Due to this,we decided that both of us will take one of you with us. So I left for Spain with Nicky and your mum stayed with Nicole. I accidentally lost your mum's contact and I couldn't locate you because you relocated. As a result this,I realized that I made a very big mistake by leaving you and your mum to Spain and also taking Nicky away from her mum. So I moved back to California and found a new job here. I've tried to locate you but all my trials failed. You girls have brought much joy to me by bringing this family together. And I want to take this opportunity to apologize to my lovely wife, Rose. Please I'm very sorry I left you,that was the most biggest mistake I've ever made,please forgive me Rose."
"It's okay Andrews,I've already forgiven you. I don't think you should be sorry because I and Nicole should have left with you to Spain,but I didn't. I'm also very sorry for what I did please forgive me."
"There's nothing to forgive my love,I really missed you and Nicole all these years,I'm never going to leave you again." daddy says.
"Me too."mum reply.
We all hugged each other,enjoyed our dinner and went home together. Since then we've lived in harmony and continues to live happily ever after!
