Gladion x Hau: I choose you!

The Confession

The two wandered around the ruins for a while, trying small talk, which ended up making the situation even more awkward if it was possible. For Gladion at least. Hau seemed to enjoy it, but Gladion didn't know that. He was too worried about his sister. Eventually, they came to a dead end on the path that would 'definitely be the right one this time.'

Hau spoke, "Oh. Well this didn't really work, but that's okay! We'll find them soon! Right Gla...Gladion?" He looked down at the pale boy, who was sitting down hugging his knees... crying? He never showed emotion to anyone, but this felt different to him. Utterly hopeless. The boy sat down next to him.

"Glad? Listen, we're gonna fin-"
"Well what if we don't?" His voice was shaking, before he spoke again
"I've already left my mom. Lilly... she's the only family I have left."
Hau shook his head and smiled
"That's not true Hau! You have me! I'm your famil-"
"No!" Gladion almost shouted, startling Hau with his abruptness, and deep down feeling bad about it.
"You can't be my family! You... you..." He turned away from Hau so he couldn't see his crying, flustered face.

"Hau, you're special to me. I never show it, because I'm afraid, afraid of everything that could go wrong. I like you Hau, I really, like you, and you'll probably leave because of this, but I need to tell you. I love you, in a different way then family." He spoke in a quiet, low voice. He started to speak again.

"I'm sor-" He was cut off by Hau hugging him from behind, causing him to cry even more. Until the sobs turned into laughter, when he realized Hau was mercilessly tickling him.
"Ahaha- Hau- Hahahaha~"
Hau kept tickling him until they were both on the ground laughing.

"I didn't know you were ticklish!" Hau joked, as they stopped laughing. He started to speak softer
"Glad... I like you too. No, I love you too. It may be a bit sudden, and I know I can't make your problems go away, but I can be there for you, and I can help you through it all. So let's go find you're sister." He ended enthusiastically, starting to get up, before he felt something take his hand, pulling him back down.

"Wait..." Gladion said, his green eyes looking into Hau's as their hands intertwined.
"Is this okay?" Gladion said softly as he moved closer to him, putting his other hand behind Hau's head. Before he knew it, the tanned boy leaned in, and closed the gap between them. They kissed softly for a while, until they broke apart for breath. Hau smiled, before he felt his heart flutter has Gladion started to kiss him again, but more passionate this time.
That is until they heard,
"Gladion? Hau?"

Woah!!! I'm not dead!!! Sorry for being gone so long, this is why I don't write fanfics often 😂
