Chapter 26

I woke up with a shock, and had to run to the bathroom. It felt as if something was violently pushing around my insides. Apparently, my sprint to the toilet woke Ciel up, because a few seconds after I got there, he was beside me holding my hair back. "Are you alright," he asked with his cute tired voice.
"I don't feel well. I think I need to get checked on by a doctor."
"Alright. I'll have one here as soon as possible."
"Thank you Ciel." After I was finished, we lied on the bed, and I buried my face in his chest, feeling comforted by his grip on my body. My grip on his shirt tightened every time he would move at all. "Heheh, don't worry. I'm not going anywhere, you're stuck with me," he teased. I smiled and looked up at my husband. It feels surreal. He placed a gentle kiss on my nose, as we heard a knock on the door. "Let me go let the doctor in." I released him from my mighty grasp and turned, curled, towards the door. Watching as the stranger walked into the room, I noted the strange utensils he was carrying with him. "Alright, let's have a look at that stomach, shall we," he stated in a gravely voice. I turned on my back and moved my shirt out of the way. (I have no idea how they did this back then, so I'm using my imagination, lol.) He pressed his hand firmly on my lower stomach and felt around a little bit. Seeing Ciel move, I watched him walk over and sit next to me on the bed. I took his hand and smiled at him, anxious to see what was wrong with me. "Don't worry. Everything's going to be ok, (Y/n)," Ciel said softly to me. He patted my head with his free hand, and we looked at the doctor expectantly. "Well? How is she?"
"Well, Mrs. Phantomhive, you appear to be about six weeks pregnant."
"W-what," I stuttered out.
"Well after feeling around your stomach, your uterus appears to be enlarged, as it would be for a pregnancy."(it was the 'first time', if u didn't get it.)
"B-but. That would mean that it was on my birthday..." I looked over at Ciel, nervously, only seeing him blankly staring at the doctor. The doctor looked at Ciel and said, "Congratulations, Mr. Phantomhive, you're going to be a father. I must take my leave now. Get in touch with me if you need anything during your pregnancy."
Worried I asked, "Uh- um, Ciel?" He blinked and looked down at me, still not saying a word. "I-... I'm going to be a dad?"
"Ye-yeah, it sounds like it," I chuckled nervously. Ciel started grinning, and kissed my stomach well over a hundred times. He looked up at me and said, "I can't believe we're starting a family!"
"Heheh, so you're not mad?"
"Why on earth would I be mad about finding out that I'm going to have a family with the woman I love? This is great news."
I smiled and said, "Well I'm glad you fee that way, Ciel. I wonder whether it will be a boy or girl."
"I wouldn't care either way, I'm just glad we get to have a family."
