Amber's P.O.V
"Of course I will." I told Austin with a smile. He engulfed me in a huge hug and we sat like that for awhile, but I wasn't complaining. He climbed all the way into my bunk and relaxed right beside me. I sat breathing in the smell of his cologne and thinking about how right this felt. I haven't felt this way for a guy in a really long time, or at least since my last boyfriend, and that ended pretty bad. But Austin was different. He did nice things for me, called me beautiful even when I didn't feel like it, and liked me for who I was. He's the sweetest guy I've ever met and I'm glad that he made that tattoo appointment, because if he didn't then I wouldn't be right here right now. I realized after about 5 minutes that Austin had fallen asleep and was quietly snoring. I turned around and drifted off into sleep knowing that everything was going to fine and that tomorrow would be a better day.
--
I woke up to an empty bunk and the smell of bacon. I sat up and rubbed the sleep from my eyes trying to wake myself up a bit. I stepped out of the bunk and walked to the front of the bus to see if everyone was awake, and when I got there I saw Austin watching The Lion King and Phil cooking bacon and making some eggs. Phil was the first to notice me standing there half asleep. "Morning, Amber." he said. Austin turned to me at that time and jumped from his seat smiling at me. "Good morning gorgeous." he said before kissing me. "Morning." I said. "I see somebody isn't a morning person." Austin said to me. I stuck my tongue out at him and walked over to the plate of finished bacon and grabbed a piece, then I went and sat down to watch the rest of the movie. Austin came and sat down beside me and wrapped his arm around me and kissed me on my cheek. We were both really into the movie when we heard a loud thump. We both jumped and looked to see Alan on the floor of the bus. "Oh my God that hurt like a bitch!" he yelled. "Shut the hell up!" Aaron yelled from his bunk, "I have a hangover and you're making my head hurt worse than it already does." Austin and I both laughed so hard, not so much at what Aaron said, but the fact that Alan got hurt. "So what is everyone gonna do today since it's our day off?" Phil asked. "I think me and Amber might go out to eat or something. Does that sound okay to you?" he asked me. "Yeah, sounds great." I said with a smile.
Me and Austin went to eat (and by eat I mean get ice cream) around 7 and I wore a simple black dress and some silver flip flops. I had my hair in loose waves and had on only mascara. We went to a cute little ice cream shop, I got cookies and cream and Austin got chocolate. We walked down by the water in silence and ate our ice cream. There wasn't many people out and it was just really peaceful out. The sun was starting to set and we eventually finished our food and found a bench to sit on and watch the sun set behind the few clouds that were in the sky. "Today was a good day." I said to Austin. "Yeah, especially since I got to spend it with you." he said with a big smile on his face. I gave him a quick kiss and then held his hand in mine. We sat on that bench for awhile looking at the stars starting to shine and become visible. "I love you." Austin said to me. I turned and looked at him with wide eyes, thinking he didn't just say what I think he said. "I love you, too." I finally said back, and I've never been so sure about saying that before in my life.
