In Demian, Sinclair was pressured by Kromer to seem heroic and manly. Soooo why not make up a lie about apples??
Jimin is seen with apples throughout BST and Lie. The title if his song "Lie" is called that because after Sinclair lied about it, he was blackmailed by Kromer. Kromer wanted him to pay him or he would tell that he "stole the apples." Sinclair felt like he had fell into the dark part of the world after committing that sin. M
In the MV, they also show Jimin a circle with Eva over it (Jhope's circle) Frau Eva was Max Demian's mother. Sinclair had a connection with Eva in a motherly yet intimate connection. That is why Jimin reacted to Eva's card (not kookies card because thats his younger self)
