"Thanks again, Hwayoung dear."

"No problem Grandma, call me again for another shift!" Hwayoung leaves the shop happily. It was another day that Grandma needs help with the shop.

Somehow, there were a lot of customers today, and most of them bought garlics. Hwayoung eavesdropped some of the customers and those garlics were suppose to protect them from vampires.

She could only snicker at the thought and at the same time, she felt a breeze of wind on her arm, when there were no winds surrounding her.

Being the stubborn Hwayoung, she just walks forward, not knowing there was someone following her behind. Soon, Hwayoung could feel someone was behind her and she turn behind as fast as she could.

"Why are you following me?" Hwayoung asked, rather calm. The stranger was wearing a hoodie and jeans, plus converse show. The stranger can't be a pickpocket or something.

The stranger wore fancy clothes.

"You're a vampire aren't you?" Hwayoung raises her eyebrows and the stranger nodded slowly. She was trying to figure how the stranger's features looked like, but he was looking down.

"Can you reveal yourself?" Hwayoung asked, but her voice was a little shaky. The stranger walks two steps towards her, now their faces are just inches away.

Hwayoung's heartbeat was beating fast, just like how she saw Wonho.

"You already met me."

"What is that suppose to mean?" Hwayoung whispered while throwing a piece of paper that was filled with her doodles.

"Hwayoung!" A familiar voice startled her and she quickly turns towards him with a frown.

"Wonho! You little shit! Stop doing that!"

Wonho chuckled her as he puts his arm around her shoulder.

"Aww, someone looks scared. C'mon it's lunch time." Wonho grabbed her wrist, bringing her towards his gang.

"Oh, Hwayoung!" Kihyun waved towards her with a wide smile, followed by the others. Hwayoung decided to sit in between Wonho and Hyungwon.

"How's class?" Wonho asked and Hwayoung just shrugs.

"As usual boring," Hwayoung answered simply and as she was about to take a big bite of her sandwich, someone was shouting her name.

"HWAYOUNG! HWAYOUNG!!!"

Hwayoung closed her eyes with annoyance and sighs.

"Yes, Lisa? And why are you looking like a mad woman?"

"Look!"

Lisa threw a newspaper to Hwayoung, the guys were watching Hwayoung intensely.

Hwayoung widens her eyes. It was her neighbors. Her eyes then turn towards the gruesome pictures.

"It must be the vam--

"No. It's a wolf." Hwayoung said, interrupting Lisa with a serious voice as she looks intensely at the pictures. She knew about the vampires and wolves well, as, she was a victim of being "nearly" eaten by a wolf.

"How did you know?" Lisa asked her and Hwayoung crumpled the newspaper.

"Because I had been bitten once before."

"Wait, you have been bitten before?!" Wonho was shock and Hwayoung could only laugh at him.

"Yeah, it's on my chest. It left a scar." Hwayoung pouted and Wonho can't help but feel bad for her. Hwayoung had to tell him everything and Wonho felt somehow angry.

"I'll take revenge for you."

Hwayoung widens her eyes and shakes her head.

"No! No! It's dangerous, Wonho. You can get killed and they are big species."

Wonho can sense that Hwayoung cared about him and it made him fall for her even more.

"I know." Wonho smiled and Hwayoung just nodded. Apart of Wonho wanted to tell her that it was him who followed her last night.

But Wonho decided that he wants Hwayoung to find out by herself... if he could wait or he could tell her straight the truth.

"You are too nice, Hwayoung."

Hwayoung just smiled towards Grandma as she was packing her bag.

"It's okay, Grandma. Anyways, I have to go. Sorry for asking you to close the shop alone."

"It's okay, dear. Go home and have some rest." Grandma said and Hwayoung gave her a side hug, quickly grabbing her bag and ran out of her house.

She was supposed to spent the night doing her assignments, but Grandma called her last minute ane Hwayoung agreed since she was about to finish her assignments.

Hwayoung ran quickly, tightening her grip onto her bag. As she was running, a big species was running across a road, running towards Hwayoung.

She didn't see it at all, and at a speed of lightning, the big species jump onto Hwayoung. The clueless Hwayoung just gasp loudly, her mind was all over the place after realizing that it was a wolf.

Her old memory taking over her brain, Hwayoung always vowed that whenever she saw or if she were attacked by a wolf, she swore that she will fight back, but this time, she didn't.

The wolf was too big, its eyes were glowing red, mouth was watery and it looked like it was about to eat Hwayoung.

Hwayoung was already crying and sobbing loudly, she couldn't scream as something or someone was controlling her mouth.

She just closed her eyes, excepting the reality that she is going to be eaten alive or killed.

"That's not a cool way to eat someone like that." A strangely deep voice said, Hwayoung couldn't think of anyone.

The next second, the wolf was sent flying across.

"Hwayoung?"

A familiar and sweet voice called out, and Hwayoung's eyes immediately open to see Wonho crouching in front of her, wearing a white hoodie, his hair was wet and messy, his lips were plump red and he was wearing a track pants and slippers.

Hwayoung's eyes were filled with tears more as she sees him. Without a word, Hwayoung just engulfed him into a big hug, her arms wrapped around Wonho's neck, she hid her face on his neck as she was sobbing.

Wonho sighs as he tightens the grip of the hug.
