I just stood there like a cow 🐮 waiting to be slaughtered.She started to laugh as she moved closer.I trembled as she placed the sharp edge of the knife against my forehead.I have never been so horrified in my life.With uncontrollable tears rolling down my face,I begged saying"Please don't do this,I am too young to die".In a quiet voice,she replied"Trust me,you won't die because I will cut out your face carefully and painfully,then you will understand how it feels to be ugly.But come to think of it,death is not that bad.Death is a beautiful thing".She then use the knife 🔪 to make a small cut under my chin.I could feel blood oozing out.Suddenly,She dropped the knife 🔪 on the floor and moved back in fear.It was as if she saw something terrifying behind me.I could not turn my neck to see what frightened her.Immediately,I heard gunshots.The girl staggered backwards dropping the needle as the bullet pierced her throat.I saw blood gushing out of her neck as she struggled to block the bleeding with both hands.All of a sudden,there was another gunshot and this time,the bullet sunk into the girl's head,putting her down for good.Immediately,my body regained mobility;I could move my body at will.Swiftly I turned around to see the shooter."Aunty!!" I shouted with relief as I found out that the shooter was my aunt.My aunt stood at a distance with a 9mm pistol in her hand.She was in her night gown with a scarf tied around her head.I moved closer to her and said "Thank you for saving me.I thought I was going to die".She stretched forth her hand and said" Follow me,this place is not safe".Without hesitation,I followed her.We found our way to the dark narrow corridor.
As we moved down the corridor,my aunt asked "Do you know the whereabouts of your uncle and the twins?".It was then I realized that she was unaware of her husband's death.In a low tone,I replied and said "Aunty,am sorry.Uncle is ....".Sharply she said "Uncle is what?What happened to my husband?Please tell me.".I looked down and said"Uncle is...Uncle is dead.".With tears in her eyes she muttered "What are you talking about?".I looked up with tears also present in my eyes,I said in a low tone "I went to your room,and I saw uncle dead".Uncontrollable tears flooded her eyes.I decided not to tell her how uncle died because that will only worsen the case.I moved closer to console her.She wiped off her tears and asked "What about the twins?Did you see them?".As I was about to answer,we heard a loud thud.We looked in the direction of the noise and saw a huge black box with a door;it looked like a black wardrobe.All of a sudden,a familiar sound came from the box.It was a knocking sound,it sounded just like the knocking sound I heard earlier.Immediately,the door opened and in the box was a man tied with chains.The man was familiar.He was wearing a red robe and he had three horns on his head like the man I saw in the image on the door earlier on.All of a sudden,he broke the chains and a long spear out of nowhere appeared in his right hand.He started to move towards us.Out of fear,my aunt started to shoot him.The bullets bounced off him,it had no effect on him;he was literally bulletproof.As he moved closer,my aunt grabbed my hand and we started to run 🏃 without looking back .In the process of running,I sprained my ankle so I started to limp.After running for some time,we came to a dead end.There was a wall in front of us with no means to escape.We were trapped with no where to go.We looked back and realized that the man was still chasing us.My aunt pointed the gun at the man and started to shoot,but it was in vain.The man raised the spear in his right hand,aimed at my aunt and threw it towards my her.Fortunately,my aunt dodged it and kept on shooting the man until she exhausted all the bullets in the gun.She put her hand inside the pocket of her nightgown, brought out more bullets and started to reload the gun.It was like she was ready for this situation.The man pointed at me and in a low voice,he started to chant "Sacred,Sacred,Sacred,Sacred".My aunt started to shoot him but he was still impenetrable.All of a sudden,he jumped in front of us and grabbed my aunt by the neck.He started to choke her.I tried hitting him with my fist to stop him from choking her but it was not effective.I looked around and saw his spear on the ground.I took the spear and stabbed him in the back.He may be bulletproof but his spear pierced him with little effort.He groaned in pain as he loosened his grip around my aunt's neck.He fell to the ground,rolling in pain.I took my aunt's hand and I was about to run when she let go of my hand.Instead,she went towards the man and removed the spear from his back.She used her leg to turn him over with his face looking up then she shoved the spear down his throat.She stabbed him repeatedly then used the sharp edge of the spear to cut off his head.His three horns disappeared.I watched in horror.I was surprised and shocked by the brutal and bloody action of my aunt.My aunt's clothes 👚 was drenched in blood.She dropped the spear and moved towards me.She touched my shoulder and said "Let's go and find the twins".I was speechless,so I answered by nodding my head.
There was an awkward silence as we walked down the corridor.My aunty broke the silence by saying "I know you are shocked by the way I killed that horned man back there but it was self defense".I just looked her in the eye and said nothing because I didn't know what to say.She then said "I know you are still in shock from seeing your uncle dead.I can only imagine how you felt when you saw your uncle's head dangling from the ceiling.". Immediately,I moved away from her and asked "How did you know the details of uncle's death? If I remember correctly,I did not tell you how uncle died.".I kept my distance from her and asked again"Aunty,how did you know that his head was dangling from the ceiling? I just told you that he was dead,so how did you know?".Suddenly,I heard a voice saying"I told you he will find out".My aunt replied the voice saying "I underestimated him.I never knew he was this smart".I looked around but did not see anyone.My aunt giggled and said"Let me tell you a secret,I killed my husband".I was taken aback by her words.Shocked and confused 😖,I asked stammering" Aun..aunty..wha..what are you talking about?How can you say you killed your husband?I don't understand.".She smiled and pointed her gun at me.My heart rate increased due to fear 😱 and shock.Within the twinkle of an eye,she shot my left leg.I never expected it.I screamed like a little girl and groaned in pain.I fell to the ground and rolled in excruciating pain.She walked towards me and knelt down in front of me.She winked😉 at me and said "Dara,I know you are in pain,but I want you know I killed your uncle in order to feed her."The voice spoke again saying "She had no choice,she had to feed me". In tears,I looked around to find out where the voice was coming from.She laughed and said"Oh,you are looking for the source of the voice.You are looking in the wrong direction.Let me show you something.".She untied the scarf on her head and there was not a single hair on her head;she was bald.She turned around and what I saw at the back of her head was horrifying and dreadful.There was a face of an old woman 👵 at the back of her head.I was scared to the bones and at the same time,I was bleeding out.The face looked at me and said "I can smell your fear for it is thicker than the air.I can't blame you for being afraid because it is not everytime we see face to face to face.If you understand what I mean".My aunty then ask the strange face "Should I feed you his flesh?".The face replied"I love to taste 👅 his flesh but I can't because he is sacred".My aunt turned and with a surprised face she said "Sacred!!!.That is impossible.Anyways,we have to kill him!!!". Then the face said "I suggest you drown him in the red pit".My aunt held me by my right leg and started to drag me down the corridor until we were in front of an iron door.She opened the door and dragged me into a room filled with white lights.There was a pit in the middle of the room. She dragged me towards the pit and smiled at me.I started begging "Aunty please don't do this,Aunty please don't kill me,I beg you.Don't drop me in to the pit.Aunty pleeeaaasee!!!Please..please.".With a sinister smile on her face,She bent down and tossed me into the pit.With my mouth wide open,I screamed in fear 😱 as I fell into the pit.
