Chapter 8

We were now inside the hotel room and James hasn't talked to me since my arrival. On the other hand, Julia hasn't stopped bothering me.

"Julia, I swear if you ask me again, I'm sleeping on the beach tonight."

"Fine. It's just that, Im concerned. Anyways, I have news." Her eyes twinkled.

"What is it now?" I sighed. Geez, does this girl ever get tired?

"James and Nadine broke up!" She whisper-screamed making sure that James didn't hear.

"W-what?" I stuttered.

"James got so mad at Nadine earlier for being rude and boastful. Eh yun, James broke up with her right then and there. Bagay naman kamo eh. You guys fit each other!" She teased. What the actual heck? I thought this girl supported those two.

"Oh." Was all I could say. I really care, because that doesn't change the fact that James flirted with me while he was in a relationship and I was still in no situation whatsoever to start a conversation with him.

By 10 everyone was already in bed when I get a phone call from my mom.

'Sup ma?' I said into my phone.

'Kiers, honey! Well change of plans, there's going to be a huge family reunion tomorrow night and we need you back here. I already talked with your camp coordinators. I got you a flight for tomorrow morning. Love you!' And then I heard the line go dead.

Great. She just hangs up on me like that.

Well I dont know if this a blessing or a nightmare but aye atleast I don't have to be around these snobby rich kids.

"Hey juls?" I call to Julia who was in the bathroom. She popped her head out.

"Something came up and I have to go back home tomorrow. I'm just letting you know beforehand, because I'm leaving early tomorrow." I saw the girl frown and nod. James and Inigo even took a glance at me when I said that.

What now, James? I smirked.
