New Relationships

Marlene was sitting in the common room with lily studying for astronomy.
"Are we done yet" growled Marlene
"No!" you haven't written your essay yet"
"Uuugh"
"What are you uuughing about?". Sirius got down from the boy's dormitory.
"Nothing!"
"Lily!" the girls said at once.
"And what did lily do that makes you ughhhh-ing?" Sirius asked.
"Nothing!" said lily before Marlene could say anything.
"NO! She makes me study. We are studying for at least 3 hours! My brain is going to melt!!" Marlene angrily said giving an angry look at Lily.
"I see..." Sirius said. " Sooo...maybe you would like to...have a little break??" he winked leaning on the table while looking at Marlene
"I'm IN!" she said. "Anything that takes me out of here!" and before Lily could do anything Marlene grabbed Sirius hand and lead him to the door. Lily looked at him furious but he only winked at her while passing from the door.
"You're my hero'" Marlene smiled at him.
"Tell me something I dint know"
She leaned on him smiling staring in his eyes, Sirius leaned on her but before he could do anything she run away giggling.
"Oh you..." he said angrily happy and chased her out at the castle's grounds. He grabbed her and carried her to the Whomping Willow.
"NO!" she screamed laughing and hitting his back "not in there!"
"Why is the little tiny Marlene scared??" he said in a playing laughing tone
"OF COURSE IM NOT YOU LITTLE...." but before she could continue he closed her mouth with his free hand.
"No no no. No screaming here.....And you were about to tell something bad FOR ME?? Ten Points from GRYFFINDOR!" he said terribly mimicking Dumbledore's voice. He could feel Marlene laughing and he couldn't but laugh too. "Im hilarious i know!" Marlene unable to say anything bought his hand.
"Ouch! Marlene!"
"You wouldn't let me talk-" but before she could finish Sirius cut her.
"Here we are..."
"What- AAAAAAAAH" Marlene screamed as she suddenly found herself sliding down the tunnel. "Ouch" she hit the ground, "SURIUS ORION BLACK!! GET HERE RIGHT NOW!!"
"If you ask for it my dear!" she heard him saying and before she could move herself he hit her back.
"SIRI-"
"Shhh" he clapped his hand on her mouth "listen..."
That was when they heard sobbing from upstairs.
"C'mon" Sirius got up holding her hand and heading up the stairs.
When they opened the first door they found James crying on the floor next to a bed.
"James..." Sirius got close to him worried and terrified.
Suddenly James stopped crying and looked up at Sirius and Marlene surprised.
"What....what are you guys doing here??" he said wiping his eyes trying to get rid of the tears.
"Us?? What are YOU doing here? And are you crying?? James Potter never cries!" Sirius said socked and concerned.
"I'm fine. It really is nothing...But what are u guys doing here anyways?" James asked looking at Marlene
" Don't look at me! Ask your little mad friend here who brought me here in the middle of the night!"
"Marlene....it's 8pm. I wouldn't say it's the middle of the night!" Sirius said. James was looking at his knees trying to hide the tears that were filling again his eyes. But he didn't have to try because Sirius noticed anyways.
"Prongs....mate are you okay?"
"How?! How do you guys have...this?" waved his hands back and forth between them
"James..." Marlene kneeled in front of him to face him.
"You know what I'm talking about!" he looked at them, "you're madly in love and you are together! Tell Marlene, would you ever say anything to Sirius that would hurt him?"
"Of course not!"
"Lily...?" Sirius voice came as a whisper.
"How could she say that I'm a traitor and not a real Gryffindor?"
"What?!" the couple said.
"Lily would never say that, most of to you cause... NO way she said that!"
"Marlene..." James looked at here angry, "believe me...she said it"
James just shook his head still trying to hide his hot tears.
"But...Lily...she knows...! She would never say something like that, no!" Marlene said not wanting to believe what the boy was saying. Sirius gave her a look that made her understand that she better not talk.
"But...James...how...I mean how did she say that. She couldn't have said that for fun. You must have done something" Sirius said and Marlene agreed nodding.
James looked at him with eyes full of tears again. This time he didn't do anything to stop them he just let them stream down his face.
" IT WAS SNAPE!" he screamed sobbing. "HE IS RUINING EVERYTHING!". Sirius not wanting to see his friend like that he put his hand onto James shoulder trying to calm him down. After a few more minutes Sirius spoke again.
"Now tell us what happened"
James took a deep breath.
"I was walking down the corridors heading to the common room and I bumped onto him. He gave me that Snape look but I tried not to give him attention because I'm trying to be good for Lily. But it seems that he had other plans because, he started asking me about Remus again...and other things i don't remember....and...I...I lost my temper! I hexed him...and then Lily appeared, I don't even know from where...and she got mad! And I don't even know why! She doesn't like him anymore!" he stopped, looking at his friends.
"Continue." Sirius said.
"Well then she said that a real Gryffindor would never do that! That I'm a traitor! How did this even come up? I don't know why she acted so weird...And...And I don't understand why it hurt me that much"
"Cause you're Really in love with her" Sirius said with a smirk.
"Yeah, well..." he sighed, "I better change..."
"Change?" Marlene hesitated
"Change clothes cause Prongs, Oow, you stink man!" he said waving his hand in front of his nose, but James ignored him.
"No...change my mind. I mean, get over Lily"
Sirius and Marlene said nothing before bursting into laughter.
"What?!" James shouted over their laughs.
"C'mon! C'mon mate! You can't do that!"
"Yes I do and I will"
"No you can't" Marlene assured him looking straight in his eyes.
"You'll see! I'll get over lily!"
"How?"
"By finding another girlfriend!"
"Okay okay, c'mon now" Sirius said getting him up. "You better go get a bath"
"Well... you're right. I can't ask someone out by smelling like this" James said and leaved them. Marlene was about to leave the room too but Sirius hold her back.
"Where are you going" he smirked.
"To the castle"
"I don't think so"
"Well I think so. You can't tell me what to do." Marlene said heading outside.
"Well I can't tell you what to do but I can do this" Sirius said grabbing her hand and carrying her back inside.
"Not again! Sirius! Let me dowwwwn! Pleeeeease!" Marlene said but he didn't put her down. Instead he led himself and Marlene upstairs again but not in the same room they were before.
"Sirius....you know we can get in a lot of trouble for this right?" Marlene said.
"And since when do you care about getting in trouble? Merlin, Lily is getting in your head. Don't hang out so much with her." Sirius said leaving Marlene stand on her feet but not letting her hand.
Marlene looked around her and she was stunned. The room had nothing to do with the rest of the house. Sirius probably had decorated it and there was a table in the room...with food on it but Marlene wasn't sure...she hoped it wasn't made by Sirius. All the room was filled with candles that were lightning it. It was amazing.
"Sirius....I.....I usually hate these things but....that is not that bad!" she said looking at him. "Is that food on the table? We are going to eat?" she asked again shocked by Sirius's actions. The boy had left her stunned!
"Yes and yes." Sirius answered at the girls questions with a grin.
"Then, would you like take a sit?" Sirius said. The girl sat down.
She didn't take her eyes off Sirius's while he pulled a chair so she can sit.
"Are you sick or something?"
Sirius laughed
"Sirius...something is.... what did you do!?"
"Nothing!" he laughed putting his hands up. "Now try the food and tell me if you like it"
Marlene did as he said. The food was delicious! The meat and the spaghetti were great and made a good combination.
"Sirius!" she said with her mouth full and eyes wide. "This is Amazing! Who made this?"
"Like you don't know" he grinned and looked away.
"Remus?" the girl said curiously. "Well he has cooked for me before but-"
"No. not Remus...wait...he's cooked for you before?"
"Well...when I brought you this cake..."
"I knew it!" he shouted pointing at her. " I knew you didn't make it!!"
"Ok ok, calm down and tell me, who cooked this?"
As Sirius didn't answer she understood. "NO! No way! YOU?"
"I don't understand why you are so surprised! Anyways, now I've got to ask you something" he hold her hands.
Marlene looked at him with a curious look. What was he going to ask?
"Ohh....ok. I'm listening" she said noticing how Sirius had taken her hands into his. He looked quite nervous too. That was weird seeing on Sirius. He was always so confident.
"Okay..."he started. "Um...we hang out a lot lately and I have come to the point that you are an amazing girl. I love everything about you. Your laugh, your confidence, the way you don't like rules and you always want to have fun. I love the way you shake your head every time you listen to music, I love the expression your face takes when you are bored in class and when someone says something stupid....I think...I think I love....you". He looked straight into her eyes.
Marlene felt an amazing feeling. She was so happy! She....she liked him too! No no she didn't like him, she loved him! She loved him so much that she was about to grab him and kiss him that very moment!
"Sirius....that's.....that's amazing!" she finally said.
She saw him letting out a breath of relief. "So..." he said leaning over the table getting closer to her "Do you want to....be my girlfriend?". Their faces were so close.....
"Yes...I want..."
And with that Sirius took her face into his hands and gave her a smooth kiss on the lips.
Marlene kept her eyes closed for a while after Sirius broke their kiss.
"Sirius..."
"Yeah?"
She opened her eyes and before Sirius could react he found Marlene on top of the table, her arms squeezing his face and her lips on his. The kiss was getting deeper and deeper as she was also moving on Sirius's legs and sat on him. He grabbed her back and legs and laid her down the carpet not braking the kiss. He got on top of her and only then they stopped to catch their breaths.
"Well...I see you don't want to lose any time, Siri"
"Oh you bet" he smirked and kissed her violently grabbing her waist and she rubbing her hands around him.
When they finally got apart from each other Sirius wondered how the hell they had moved from the room to the bedroom without him noticing. He couldn't really remember. The only thing he could remember was Marlene's body over his. He turn his head and stared at her eyes. Marlene stared at his too.
He had such great grey eyes. She could get lost in them....but then Sirius broke her daydream.
"I think.....it's about time to get to the castle...." he said.
Marlene looked at him. "I hurt.....everywhere. Is that supposed to happen??"
Sirius looked at her and then he burst out laughing. Then Marlene started laughing too. They kept laughing for good five minutes until Marlene heard footsteps from outside of the bedroom. She picked Sirius with her arm to make him stop. He looked at her curiously.
"Listen" she whispered. Sirius stared at the wall trying to hear but he couldn't hear anything. Then he heard the footsteps. He looked at Marlene. And he was relived as he saw that the girl had already been dressed. He grabbed her hand and they both stood up.
"Marls?"
"Lily?"
Lily got in the room with a curious look and even more curious as she found Sirius and Marlene standing in the centre of the room holding hands. As Marlene noticed she let go of Sirius's hand.
"Um...wh-what are you doing here?" Marlene ask scratching her head.
"Well I-I came to find you"
"How did you know I was here?"
"Well... I found James..." she looked away. "He said that you found him here... Was he crying?" she eyed Sirius and then her friend
"Yes!" Sirius said at once.
Lily looked embarrassed
"Wh-why would he cry?"
Sirius wasn't sure if the girl was crying too.
"Didn't he tell you?" he asked her.
"He barely talked to me"
After a few moments of silence Sirius said out loud. "You hurt him, Lily"
She looked at him shocked and indeed, she was crying.
"What? How? How could I?"
"Well, you said he wasn't a real Gryffindor and he was a traitor" Marlene answered.
"Oh my stars!". Lily clapped her mouth with her hands. "I need to talk to him!". She was about to walk away but she turned back to them. "Sirius I need your help"
"What?!"
"Yes, now! I can't make James get down from the boy's dorms. Please Sirius!"
Sirius looked at Marlene and saw a sweet smile on her face, just for him.
"Oh fine!" he said following Lily out of the house as Marlene was holding his hand again.
"James?" Sirius went close to his best friend's bed, "are you awake?"
"Yes...". Sirius barely heard him.
"Did you...talk with Lily?"
James raised his head to look at Sirius.
"Yes..." he hesitated.
"Mate she's really sorry"
"Pfft. Yeah right. As much as I am that i hexed Snape for what he said about her"
"Prongs she came to the house and she was crying"
"What?" he said surprised and worried. "Why?"
"Cause she hurt you!!" she didn't mean to do such a big damage to you"
James said nothing. He just stared at the floor
"So?"
"So what?" Marlene asked Lily as they were waiting in the common room.
"What were you and Sirius doing in the bedroom?". Marlene noticed a small smile in her friend's face.
"Talking...well...playing"
"playing? What? Wizardry chess?" Lily mocked.
"No" Marlene laughed.
"Then what?". Lily turned to face her with a smile.
As Marlene didn't answer Lily said. "Were you playing cards?"
"No! Love!" she answered.
"Well" Lily said after a few minutes "I don't know this game. How is it played? Can more than one player-?"
"Lily!" Marlene laughed.
"What" Lily laughed too.
"You know what I mean!"
"Yes I do" she reassured her looking away with a smirk.
"You won't chase Sirius right? Right?" she repeated as Lily didn't answer.
"No. Not for this reason no... I'm happy for you"
Before Marlene could say something they heard footsteps getting down the stairs from the boys dorms and both girls turned to see who was coming.
They turned their heads and saw Sirius and James coming down the stairs. Sirius was looking at James worried. As Lily saw James her heart sank. It seemed that the boy had been crying as his eyes were red and puffy. He also had tear stains on his cheeks. Lily felt horrible. Maybe James hadn't done anything bad and she just said those words without knowing. Maybe he hexed Snape because he did something to him. She felt such an idiot for not asking further.
As the boys went near the girls Sirius grabbed Marlene's hand.
"Come on Marls. Maybe we should go take a walk. Or you should go take me a walk? Or... Anyways...let's just go outside" Sirius said.
Marlene's eyes widened "What? No I'm not leaving! I have to see what will happen here!" she said but looking at Sirius's expression she understood that they should leave James and Lily alone. She grabbed back Sirius's hand and they left the room.
"Soooo.....?" Lily started not knowing what to say. But she didn't have to worry about that as James talked..
"Did you really mean it? That I'm a traitor and not a real Gryffindor I mean." he said his voice cracking.
"James..." started Lily.
"No. No "James". Did you really mean it?"
"No, James I didn't....It's just...You were so nice these days. I would say I quite liked hanging out with you. But when I saw you doing this to Snape...I thought those days were left behind" she said looking at James. His jaw clenched.
"Well it wasn't me who started it!" James said the words that Lily didn't want to hear. It wasn't James's fault. She had yelled at the wrong person.
"James....I'm sorry. I really am sorry. I shouldn't act like this without knowing what happened....I'm....I'm an idiot." she said sitting in the sofa with her face in her hands. James not wanting her to cry moved closer to her and sat next to her hugging her. Lily took her hands from her face and looked at him.
"Do you-do you forgive me??"
"Course I do Lils. I would forgive you for anything."
Sirius and Marlene were lying under the clear sky gazing at the stars. Sirius liked saying to Marlene things that she didn't know, so this night he wouldn't shut his mouth about the stars and their names and many other things about astronomy that Marlene didn't care. Possible she fell asleep a little bit, she wasn't sure, but when she noticed that Sirius wasn't talking anymore she turned her head to look up at him. He was looking at her too with a smile.
"What?" she laughed.
"Nothing...You are just beautiful"
Marlene turned red. "buuut...?" she said. She knew he had more to say.
"But what?"
"Not as beautiful as you?"
"Well... If you say it so" he laughed. "But, no. I'm not as beautiful as you"
Marlene pushed him away grinning at herself
"What? I'm trying to be romantic here!"
"Stop then"
"Why? Don't you like romance?". He got closer to her. His head was upon hers staring into her dark eyes.
"I can handle it for you" she said and gave him a quick kiss before biting his bottom lip a bit hard.
"Hey!"
He hugged her before she could run away from him. He wouldn't chase her. She laughed as he was rolling over so she got on top of him still laughing.
"I'm the only one who Bites here"
"I don't see it, Padfoot!"
He kissed her spontaneously catching her off guard. He moved on in her neck
"Well, who would say, puppy is angry"
"And it also bites!"
"Sirius!" she whispered suddenly pushing him away from her collar bone.
"What?"
"Filch!"
They got up and run to the other way of the grounds, getting away from Filch
"I know my dear. There is someone here..." the couple heard his abrasive voice behind them.
"Is he talking to his cat again?"
"Who else?" he laughed
After a few minutes of running the kids got in front of the portrait of the fat lady, giving her the password and getting inside, still trying to catch up their breaths.
"Oh...". Sirius heard Marlene beside him. He turned to see what she was looking at to find James and Lily in the sofa in front of the fireplace. They were both asleep. Lily was lying in James's hug, his arm around her and his head had fallen back.
"Should we...?" started Sirius
"No. No leave them. Goodnight" she gave him a kiss in the cheek and run upstairs to the girl's dorm. Sirius stayed a few more moments looking at his friends all happy before heading back to his bed too.
