School Play

Sirius was walking down the corridor when Ellen Stone, a sixth grade Ravenclaw girl bumped into him.
"Oh" Sirius rubbed his head were the girl's head hit him. "Watch were you going"
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry" the girl said excitedly with a huge smile on her face, obviously not caring much about her now red forehead.
"Why are you so excited?" the boy used to see Ellen behind a book all the time. Always quiet and certainly not running.
"What are you holding there?" he pointed at the papers she was holding.
"Oh, it's for a play at Hogshead!"
"A play? Like a theatre play? Played by students?"
"YES! Isn't this great? Do you want to cast?" she handed him a paper with all the details.
Sirius hold the paper in front of him. "Little Red Riding Hood?" Sirius read the title. "What in Merlin's beard is that?"
"It's a muggle tale"
"A muggle play?"
"YES! Isn't this great?" she said again. "So what do you say? Will you cast?"

Remus was sitting quietly in the Gryffindor Common room, laying on the couch with a good book on his hands. But he knew his alone peaceful time wouldn't last for long.
"Heeeeeey Remy!"
"And here goes the peace" Remus said letting out a loud sight. Sirius popped behined the armcahair Remus was sitting with a stupid grin on his face. The type of grin that let everyone know something was up. Remus gave him a look.
"Speak." he said.
"How do you know i had something to say?"
"You have that grin on your face" Remus pointed out.
"What grin." Sirius said suddenly getting serious.
"Will you tell me or should i continue reading? "
Sirius grin returned and his eyes widened.
"No no i will speaak!!" he said and then took Remus' book form his hands closed it and placed it on the small table infront of them.
"I will speak but promise you won't get mad"
Remus squinted his eyes.
"I dont like the sound of this."
"Remyyyyy pleaaaaase!!" Sirius gave him the puppy look.
"Okay okay tell me i won't get mad i promise!"
Sirius smile widened and sat on the couch facing Remus.
"I....i...welll....."
"Today if its possible "
"Well...i thought i would be fun if i took place in the schools play so i did." Sirius said.
"Well... Good for you. Why would i get mad about this?" Remus said with a frown.
"Becauseitoldthemtocastyoutoo." Sirius took a pillow from the sofa and holded it infront of his face like an armor.
"What...speak slower i dont understand."
"I....told them to cast you too."
"YOU DID WHAT???"
"I can't believe you, Sirius!"
"It will be fun"
"I hate you"
"I love me too"
"Will you shut up for a mom-"
"I want you to play Rose" Sirius said on top of Remus's voice.
Remus had a blank expression on his face. "You want me to do what?"
"Play Rose. And I will play Jack, from Titanic"
After a minute of total silence Remus burst into laughter and fell to the ground holding his stomach.
"Don't laugh! I'm serious!"
"And I'm Remus. Nice to meat you" Remus gave his hand to Sirius to shake it. Sirius pushed him away with his foot and Remus rolled on his stomach while continuing laughing.
"I can't work like this!" Sirius folded his arms "I'm going to find James"
"No, Jack! Come back! Come back!" Remus said faking cry.
"Yeah, yeah laugh now. But you're still going to cast. And I'm telling James"
Remus stand up with a serious face. "No you're not"
"Yes I am"
"What if I will be your Rose? Will you keep your mouth shut?"
Sirius smiled widely. He bowed and said: "Whatever you wish, miss DeWitt"
"Shut up. How on earth did you find about this movie anyways?"
"I certainly didn't search on your bedside table" Sirius said and run up the stairs to their room.
"Sirius!!"
Sirius plopped in his bed and waited for Remus to get on their room. Finally a furious Remus walked in.
"Sirius why were you looking at my stuff?!"
Sirius made puppy eyes.
"Well.......i was bored one day and i decided to look around..you know. But thats not the point anyways. The point is we have to get a role on the schools play. And we have to practise for that." Sirius said with a grin.
"No Sirius! We don't have to get a role YOU have! I didn't even want to. Couldn't you just for once ask me if i want something before dragging me into the situation? Its not only what you want Sirius and you have to deal with this."
There was a moment of silence where they just stared at each other. Then Sirius broke the silence.
"I..I thought it would be fun if-"
"Exactly Sirius you thought!" Remus sat on his bed.
"Well i think you are overreacting! Its not even that big of a deal i just wanted to have some fun together but im so stupid i forgot, you never have fun!"
And with that Sirius walked out of the room slamming the door behind him.
James walked in the common room with Lily by his side laughing at some silly faces he was making for her. Sirius rushed between them and walked out the portrait of the Fat Lady.
"What happened?" Lily asked.
"I don't know, but I have the feeling it has to do with Sirius being an ass and Remus being...well Remus"
"I'm going up to see if Remus is there, to talk to him" Lily moved to the staircase for the boys dorms.
"Lily you can't get up there, the staircases are jinxed and..." but James stopped as he watched Lily walk up with no problem. "Damn, why can't boys just walk to the girls dorms. It's not like we'll do anything"
"Liar"
"Shut up, Eugene!"

"Sirius. Sirius, slow down mate!"
"What do you want Prongs?" Sirius came to halt but didn't look up to James.
"What's wrong? You look really upset"
"Maybe cause I bloody am!"
"Wow, calm down dog" James raised his hands with a motion of comforting.
"I'm sorry it's just...i fucked up with Remus" Sirius sat on the floor with his back pressing the wall.
-Knew it- James thought. "Oh come on" James sat beside him. "Can't you two just solve it out by saying sorry and then kissing"
Sirius sighed. "It's not always like that"
"Tell me what happened"
Sirius started telling the whole story to James.
"Well....." Jamed started. "I know you meant no harm but you know Remus. He doesn't like being surrounded by many people or being watched or....seriously Sirius what were you thinking?"
Sirius gave him a sad but also kind of angry look.
"You know I thought it would be fun! And maybe I wasn't thinking. Maybe that's the only thing im good at doing since you all agree to that!" Sirius stood up from where he was sitting and went to leave but James quickly grabbed his hand.
"Okay okay mate calm down. I will say it again: I know you didn't want to upset Remus. You know I would be the first one to support you but I have to give this one to him. You should ask him first. You should probably go and apologize."
Sirius nodded his head in agreement.

"Well....." Lily started. "I don't think Sirius wanted to make you upset...I think he just wanted to have fun. Maybe, just maybe...you overreacted a little. I mean you could tell him in a nicer way that you don't want to take part."
Remus gave her a mad look.
"He was looking through my stuff Lils! I wasn't that mad but then i heard what he did and i got pretty angry. I like to keep some things for my self!" Remus stood up and started walking up and down.
"Okay Remus...but you are a couple. Sirius probably thought you wouldn't get that mad. I mean he wouldn't get angry if you did the same! And i know at some point you have done it too. You should go and talk to him."
"Yes.." Remus said and walked out of the room.

Sirius was getting into the common room when someone hit him.
"Hey look where you goi- " he cut his phrase in the middle as he saw that person was Remus.
"Oh sorry....hey...i was actually looking for you.."
"Yeah i was looking around for you too..." Remus said.
Sirius and Remus sat down by the fire alone.
"I'm sorry"
"No, I'm sorry. I started this. It's my fault"
"It is" Remus confirmed.
"So...you don't want to take part on this"
"No, but I can help you"
Sirius looked at Remus confused.

The next morning Remus, Sirius, James, Lily and Peter were out by the lake.
Snape sat under a tree to study when he saw them. Remus hugging Sirius's stomach from behind him as Sirius was standing on Peter's back. James was blowing in Sirius face as his hair danced on his face. Lily was making some weird noises...something like a song, at least that's what Snape hoped she was doing. And if that wasn't weird enough Sirius voice rang like a female screech.
"Remus! I'm flying! I'm flying"
Snape got up slowly and moved in the castle acting like nothing happened.
