Screams echoed in the hallway as a Hufflepuff second year boy run from the kitchen and in the Great Hall searching for his Headmistress. His eyes scanned the teacher's table furiously. When he spotted mrs. Sprout he ran through the students tables and fell on her arms crying.

"Whan happened Stuart?"

"Th-the walls-s"

"What happened to the walls, pumpkin?"

"The-they have gr-green liquid on them?"

"Green liquid?"

"They tol-told me to be a-aware"

"Be aware? Be aware of what?"

The boy shook his head and hid it in his professor's dress.

Tom Riddle walked out of the Great Hall with a huge smirk, trying not to laugh. He was filled with that feeling again. He was feeling proud of himself, making another student scared and running with tears on his chicks. What a beautiful show.

Before the handsome boy walked out of the Great Hall he looked back to see people's reactions. Others were shocked and afraid and some others weren't paying much attention, figuring that the young boy was just making this up. But Tom's green eyes were focused on something else, someone in particular. There was Arabella, the blonde Ravenclaw girl and they were now locking eyes. His green eyes staring back at her beautiful hazel. She was the only person in the room that was looking at him. He started feeling weird like she knew something, so he walked away fast and headed to the library where he could be alone.

Tom walked slowly into the library. He knew no one would expect him to be the one who did what had made the little boy cry. No no one would suspect him. He was a prefect after all and what kind of prefect would do something like that? Tom kept the small grin on his face and took a book out of its place. He sat on a table an started reading. The library was completely empty as everyone was trying to understand what had happened a few minutes ago. He liked it when he was alone. He didn't have to deal with other people's ignorance. He tried to focus on his book but there was something in his mind that was disturbing him. Well not disturbing him exactly. In his mind was the little blonde ravenclaw girl that had caught Tom's attention. Usually he didn't pay attention to girls, he had better things to deal with. But her...she had something different that made him feel something that he never thought he could. He closed his book and let out a sigh. He looked outside the library window and saw that some students were going outside. He rubbed his eyes and started to stand up but then he heard footsteps. There was Arabella with her hazel eyes searching for a book. She came close to the bookshelf and reached for a book but it was too high for her. Tom slowly stood up form his chair and approached her.

"Need some help?" he asked her with a smile.

She looked at him.

"Yes. Could you please reach for that green book in the top shelf?  The one with the golden title. Its too high for me to get it."

Tom nodded and grabbed the book. Before giving it to her he read the title.

"Care about Ancient Runes don't you?" he said handing her the book.

"Oh...well im taking the class this year and I find it difficult to keep up with the rest of the class. I hope this book will help me. You are Tom right? We are together in potions."
