There seems to be a problem with Humanity
We talk of peace and love
And of safety
But we kill our Brothers and Sisters
Simply because they have a different skin?
Or a different belief?
Take a look around and tell me
What makes us so different from each other
That we ban them from seeking refuge in our country
That we deport them to a country they ran from to seek shelter
That we lock them up simply because they are of a different nationality
Or even because their parents were
What crime did they commit?
Besides being different
Look around and tell me
Why is it that all we see is
Humans but no Humanity
