The halls of Alfea were decorated with lots of balloons, streamers and... well you name it.
The girls of Alfea entered the Main Hall of Alfea for the ball. Ms Faragonda stood at the stage and announced the start of the New Year ball alongside the students from Red Fountain, Unix's old school and Blue Fountain.

Flashback
Ms Faragonda: Close.. Actually, your mission is to go to Earth and find the fairies that got their powers through the power of believe. Then, do a convergence on the school they study at to transform the rest of the students to fairies and their school into a fairy school.

Stella: What about the Specialists? I thought you said that they had a mission too!

MS Faragonda: Their mission is quite similar to yours. The 3 best schools in that country will become Blue Fountain, the 2nd Red Fountain.

Note: Unix are special because they were already fairies because of their belief in magic. So they get into Alfea. Their friends from their old school stays there as a new fairy school.

The other students entered the hall and the party began. Everyone mingled around and was dancing to the music Musa & Jessica provided.

Musa: Hope everyone is enjoying the party. Well, are you guys enjoying it?
People: YES!!
Musa: Great! Now let's start off with our tradition New Year song.
Jessica: (whispers) What's that?
Musa: (whispers) You'll see.
Jessica: ...
*The hall went dark. 2 spotlights were on and moved all around the hall shining on random people.*

Meanwhile, Ashley was reading her book at one of the pillars in the hall while Nikki, Annelise & Myra were dancing next to her. They asked her to join in but she refused and just read her book silently. When the hall went dark, she frowned and made a tiny light with her palm to continue reading. Suddenly....
Bloom: Now it's time. How about there?! My apprentice, Ashley who's busy reading her book.
Ashley: What?
Musa: Come up to the stage, Ash.
Nikki: Go on Ash!
Ashley: But...
Myra: No buts. You've been reading since earlier. You should go up on stage and have a little fun.
*The crowd pushed Ashley to the stage and stood at the stage side nervously.*
Ashley: Bloom, Musa what's happening?
Bloom & Musa: Oh just have fun.
Ashley: Jess..
Jessica: Don't look at me. Don't even ask me what's going on. Coz I don't know even know.
Ashley: ....
Musa: And how's our second spotlight going?...
*Spotligt stops and shines on a guy who's busy talking to his friends*
Guy: What on earth?..
Bloom: Oh looks like someone's selected. Come on up!
Guy's friends: Go up there Aaron!
Aaron: Ok?...

Aaron: What's going on?
Musa: Now we have our two selections! And now... Music please!! (Turning on music & a Karaoke screen)
*Music plays*

Aaron: Hey! Wait! What's your name?
Ashley: Ashley.. Ashley Wong
Aaron: Oh. Hi Ashley. I'm Aaron, Aaron Grace. You are a pretty good singer.
Ashley: Thanks you too. Although I wasn't expecting this at all.
Aaron: Same. Err. So you're from Canterlot High (The new Alfea school on Earth for fairies) ?
Ashley: No. I was transferred to Alfea coz well yeah.. Certain circumstances. You are from Blue Fountain?
Aaron: Cool. Yep! Oh so you kind if I get your number?
Annelise: Ashley! C'mon! We gotta get ready. It's our turn soon!
Ashley: Sorry I gotta go now. Talk later?
Aaron: Sure.

Jessica: Thank you Winx, for that wonderful performance!
Musa: Now ladies and gentleman, I present to you Unix!
