Q1. #What inspires you to write "In Love With Death?"
A1. I was inspired to write In Love With Death after reading Cold_lady19's Sweet Madness... I was intrigued by the demon / human relationship and how potentially destructive it was. Also, I found the universal reaction to death quite sinister... how people seem to be in love with the notion of dying. It took me a while before i became just like those people. That is when i started to really pull apart death and it made sense to me to envision death as a being. A being who i had a romantic attachment to, and tried to resist. That is where i came up with the idea. Also, girls around my age inspire me to write this story. Every girl dreams of being whisked away by their own Prince Charming - or having a relationship with an arrogant bad boy who is violent or abusive but who still loves them... In Love With Death is really about picking apart why girls tend to fall for those who abuse them and why they still give their hearts to them. :)
Q2. #Who can you compare the characters you use to make the character come true?
A2. That is a really good question! Vanessa Snow, the 16 year old girl who is the main character in my story is based on me. She looks very different of course, but essentially, who her character is can be likened to who I am inside. Hopefully, i have written the story well because otherwise I might be misrepresenting myself. Also other people... friends, best friends and family who have said things to me that made me feel a particular way... I like to 'sew' things that have inspired me in my life into the foundations of a character - this helps me to make them more real.
Q3. #Is this a real life story? Or somehow, connected that can relate on your real life story?
A3. Yes. This IS actually a real life story, no joke. I have been having dreams that involve a male being who I love. In these dreams I am pulled around like a ragdoll and abused. I believe it to be a Demon. I also believe that if i love this particular Demon it means that I am in love with death itself, because i am choosing it over the light.
Q4. #How old were you when you wrote "In Love With Death?"
A4. I started this year, age 17.
Q5. #You were writing a new story, which is "His Porcelain Doll". And it is clear, that it is one of your very cool story, and what inspires you to write horror yet romance at the same time?
A5. Thank you very much. And His Porcelain Doll had the same feel as In Love With Death... both girls in the story were in love with someone who didn't love them back.
Q6. #What is your fav colour and why? (I know its out of place question!)
A6. I have three favourite colours. Black, white and red.
Q7. #How can you described yourself in three words?
A7. Passionate, insane, Scorpio ;)
Q8. #How did you discover wattpad? Are you greatful to have a lot of authors in wattpad. Popular and starters?
A8. I love wattpad authors so much because they inspire me to achieve wattpad stardom. :)
Q9. #Can you tell us some of your experience before you become a popular author?
A9. Hmmm... well there's a few things... Once when i was in year 7 we had to do a short story competition... I wrote about a Robot Cinderella and i was runner up out of the whole class which was great. In year 8 my older sister wrote a story about me getting trapped in a computer game and it got published in a book filled with other kids stories. Also, my mum is a Poet who has had two of her works published.
Another experience is when my sister and I were walking past a graveyard and she asked me what the drains were beneath the ground? They were large and could fit people so i told her that they were tunnels where people could go underground and see the bodies of their loved ones... I was joking but she thought i was telling the truth and proceeded to write a story about it for her formal writing exercise... she got a B.
Q10. #Anything you want to say to your FOLLOWER who stays with you and with your up-coming stories?"
A10. YOU ARE AMAZINGLY TALENTED AND SWEET I love you so much Jhean! You are my number one fan and if i ever become famous like Nhica i will advertise your stories so you can too. c:
