Chapter 2

A part of me wants to leave you alone.

A part of me wants for you to come home.

A part of me says I'm living a lie.

(And I'm better off without you.)

A part of me says to think it through.

A part of me says I'm over you.

A part of me wants to say goodbye.

A part of me is asking why...

A part of me wants to leave.

But a part of me wants to be here with you.

And everytime I think that we're over and done you do something to get me back loving you.

The beeping of my alarm went off causing me to put my pillow over my head. I sighed in frustration. I really dont feel like getting up. I hit my clock so the sound can turn off and I grabbed my phone from my counter. Surprisingly , I had no good morning text from Rashad so I decided to text him. I threw my phone on the bed and got up to go take a nice warm shower. I slipped on my pink slippers then grabbed my towel and went into the shower.

I let the warm water fall and hit my body and on my face as I think. I always loved the shower , it's best place to be alone and think about everything without getting interrupted.

After 30 minutes , I got out the shower and wrapped my body with my towel. I took my shower cap off and brushed my teeth.

After fragancing myself up , I picked out something to wear. I picked out a black and white striped shirt, dark bleached high waist shorts, black high knee socks, and combat boots with a gold chain. I plugged in my curling iron and turned on the t.v then laid on my bed and checked my phone as I waited for it to get hot. 

As I opened my phone , I saw two unread messages. One of them was from my homegirl Alexandra telling me she's coming to school late and to not wait for her at my locker. I simply replied , saying 'alright sis, catch you later' .. I then read the other message and it was from Rashad telling me good morning and that he's coming to pick me up in less than 20 minutes. I replied 'Alright babe' then placed my phone on my pillow then went to curl my hair which should take me about 10 minutes since it was already kinda curly. 

As I was done spraying myself and putting everything in my bag , I heard a honk out my window. I grabbed my phone then rushed downstairs.

I saw my puppy , Pinky, by her plate and assumed she was hungry. Rashad can wait 2 minutes..... I went into my kitchen , then grabbed the dog food and poured some into her plate then placed it back where it was. I then got out locking the door behind me then walked to his car.

I opened the car door then Rashad reached his hand out to take my bag as I jumped into his high ass car. He just smiled at me and I flashed one right back at him as I closed the car door. "Hey baby, you look good" he said leaning over to plant a kiss. I then leaned over and we gave each other pecks on the lips. "Likewise" I said causing him to chuckle. My baby looking good , he had on a black and gold Last Kings shirt, jeans, and thunder 4's with a black and gold Last Kings snapback with a gold watch and I couldn't help but to inhale his perfect scent.

The whole car ride was a comfortable silence and at times we had cracked some jokes. As we reached the school , he parked close to the front of the building but nowhere near the office. He does that sometimes just in case he wants to leave campus.
