The Live Unwanted

Chapter 10

   As I walk through the door Gabriel walked off tours the right side of the room.
    "Evalina do you why we have called you here today?" asked an older female elf wolf  in the middle.
   "I have no idea ma'am. Does it have anything to do with what I am?" I said quietly and calmly. Try not to get mad.
   "Yes,  it has everything to do with what you are." came a sneer from an older male elf wolf. Sitting next to the lady at the head of the Court.
   "Of course it does. You want to kill me like the vampires and my young. I have broken no laws I fall in love with a great man. But,  because of what I am you want to kill me. Like gay people in this country. They die too,  because they fell in love.  It's because your scared of what will happen. Your scared of the unknown. Not because a law is broken. Just scared and you call yourselves wolves." I said with a sneer.
    "You may not talk to us that way. You are on trial not us. You are the monster not us. Your destiny is to kill everything and everyone. You can not judge us." Came the third elf to the left.
   "I will and can. You want me to become my destiny do what your doing now. If you kill me I will come back and all of you will die. I wouldn't deal me now. I'll be something else that doesn't care. You have your choice to make,  cowards." I stood there waiting for them to make up their minds and it felt like a very long time.
   "Evalina Queen of the Elf Lands,  we find guilty of strange and unnatural crimes. You will burn in the center of the city for your crimes. Take her to the dungeon. Guards came and grabbed my arms.
   "No,  let her go. She has done nothing wrong and your going to kill her." Gabriel said standing next to me.
  "Yes,  she can not be left to kill us all she must burn." Said the first lady.  Gabriel walked forward.
   "She is pregnant with my child.  I can not let you kill her with out a fight." At that the Court turn and looked at him.
   "No one told us that she was pregnant. If,  it's your child then you will be burned, too. For helping a monster of pore evil grow in her stomach. Grab him too.  They will burn at the same time." The older elf said.
   "Mother why would you do this to your  grandchild. You're no lady to me." Gabriel said as the guards grabbed him too.
   "It has to be done it is not right in the laws of nature.  Take them away now before I change my mind." Gabriel's mother said turning away from us.
   "Mother!!!!" Gabriel screamed as they drug us away. They took us down the plain gray hallways that still had no paintings on them like they had years before my father died.
  The guards took us to a part of the castle I had never been. Down a long spiral staircase that lend to a dark black hole.
   "As your queen I'm telling you to let us go."I said going to try everything I could to stop this madness.
   "Shut up, bitch. There is no way you are getting out of this. Your so unnatural its not funny. I hope the pain you feel never stops once you die." said the guard holding me.
    "I will kill you for speaking to her like that." Gabriel said as he tried to reach for him.
     "Gabriel, honey he just not worth it." I said as we finally hit the bottom. They unlocked a cell and through me in. I landed on my back.
   "Evalina speak to me,  are you alright?" Gabriel asked with all the concern in his voice.
   "Yeah,  for now. But tomorrow we will be burned at the stake. For being different and that's me not you. Your being burned because of the baby in my stomach."I said as I started to cry. I was never going to meet my baby. Never going to see it grow up and be come ruler.
    "Well not really. I can get you out but I must stay because my mother can find me. There is another reason I'm being burned." He stopped to take a breath. Then he took my hands and said "I'm the son of Gabrielle the Ark Angel."
