The Truth (prologue)

Amaratsu was part of an extremely powerful clan. Their abilities were unknown to others, and for those who found out, were killed. This clan wasn't neccasarily large, because of a rather devastating tradition.

This clan started with 5 brothers, each born with the power to control an element through the sheer power of will.

There was Koru, who controled water. He was calm, and relaxed the others when ever they fought. He was the most attractive, making him quite the womanizer.

Blessed with earth was Kyo, who was a large man with a personality of a rock. (no pun intended) He minded his own business and kept to himself, secluding himself from the others.

Then there was Ryusuke, having the ability to control fire. He was the smartest, and more leader-like of the five, for he was the eldest. He had quite a temper though, and was one of the strongest and most feared. His closest brother, also the youngest, was Kiriko. With his wind abilities, him and Ryusuke were a deadly combination due to their compatibility.

Kiriko was gentle and kind, though serious and quick-witted in battle. He was the strategist, and usually hid behind the scenes during a war and such. This made him mysterious, giving him the advantage in battle.

Lastly was Miroko, born with lightning. Miroko was similar to Kyo, and kept to himself. But behind his closed doors, something grew, something that would change everything...

That's when it happened. When they discovered something.... something that would haunt their children and the ones after.

A power. A way to gain it. This is what corrupted them...
