Everyone heard of her. The girl in black. Nor ally nor foe. But no one knew who she was. She just went by one name, Ama.

No one knew if it was her real name. No one knew her family name. No one knew if she even had a family. Or friends. But those who had come into contact with her, didn't hesitate to tell the tale.

They described her as a warm creature. But one that was almost darkness itself. She never spoke but only a few words,

"Tea please... Thank you..."

She only spoke when needed. For she was afraid her voice would scare those listening.

But she wasn't rude or cruel. She was gentle, and did not cause mischief.

On her free time, which was always, she hunted. She took the lives of those in the bingo book. Ones not so innocent. She didn't kill the nin that were highly praised, such as the Kages. She didn't want to waste her time with such stupid attempts. It would lead to her being a criminal, which she didn't need at the moment.

She wanted a break. But she knew she couldn't afford one.

Not until Konoha came to her. Of course, the first meeting was tense, but it eventually led into a deal. Ama would leave Konoha nin alone, and the Hokage would provide neccasary shelter and such without detection.

-Flashback- (8 years after accident)

I had been walking for a few hours now. I was headed towards the land of fire. I've been there before, about 5 years ago. I remember Konoha, one of the most beautiful villages I have visited. The sky was so blue, the occasional cloud passing by. The weather was perfect. Always warm. Which I highly prefered to the blistering heat in Suna and the groggy air in the land of wind.

As I thought about my previous visit I wondered how the Hokage was. Yes, I knew the Hokage. He helped me move through villages without suspicion. He knew only my name, but trusted me. I swear everyone is a fool... so trusting... But therefore I was very greatful to him, and thought I should return the favor. I shook my head, thinking of the requests he would make. Possibly some assassinations, or training other ninja.

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the sound of battle and I couldn't help but be drawn to it. I always ached for a good fight. But that rarely happened.

I jumped up on a tree branch and made my way towards the fight, the sounds becoming more dignified. I stopped in a tree on the outskirts of the clearing and stared at the scene before me.

It seemed to be a team of ANBU trying to capture somebody. I was to assume he was an S-class since he was holding his own against the team of four. I sat on my tree staying in the shadows and concealed my chakra, watching.

I watched as the man threw a shuriken. Three of the four dodged while the other was distracted and got cut in the side, through the ribs. I knew it was a fatal wound, and from her fighting technique I think she was their medical ninja.

I sighed as the fall of the team mate then distacted the last three standing. The man seemed to notice and took the opportunity to then disappear, having used an untraceable teleportation justu.

Wonder what took him so long...

As the man left the ANBU seemed to ponder whether or not to pursue him. They sighed in defeat and went to their fallen team mate.

I snickered, knowing they showed too much affection for one person. I sighed and jumped down from my tree, making my presence known. The ANBU turned to me with mask covered faces, not knowing what to expect from me. I merely ignored them and walked towards the injured girl.
