I jolted up in my bed, looking around the room. I took a deep breathe and tried to relax. Another nightmare. Damn nightmares. Such a fucking hassle.
I slowly got out of bed and stretched. My wrinkled clothes itched and I figured I should change.
I undid my leather belt and then tugged off my leggings. My black seamless boxer shorts were the only ones I had at the moment, so I kept them on. I went through my small bag of things and decided to put on some thigh shorts. I kept my black tank top on as well as my mask since they also were the only ones I had.
I stretched again while slipping on my shoes. I frowned at myself, the same subject coming into my head repeatedly.
Itachi. That mother fucker kind of pissed me off yesterday, being a complete asshole. Like shit I saved one of his team mates lives. The least he could do was be nice.
But in all honesty, he is an Uchiha. They're all mean.
I hadn't trained in a while so I jumped out my window to look for my own place. I wanted my own so I wouldn't be bothered.
I swiftly landed on a tree branch, taking in a deep breathe and relishing the fresh air. I loved it.
But somewhat it made me sad. Everyone thought I was quiet and dangerous, but in reality I thought I was nice, when I wanted to be.
I shook my head and jumped to the ground. I decided to walk instead of teleport, to take it slow. As I walked I felt the earth and tried to feel a large open area.
Feeling the earth was very comforting. It was solid and strong, and made me feel invincible. But the wind was my favorite, for many reasons. It was strong, cold, but powerful. It was also a major advantage in battle. I could go on and on about how amazing it is, but finding a training area is more important.
I finally sensed an open area and teleported into the center of it. My eyes traveled around, looking for any signs of possible visitors. Once I felt good about it, I finally took in the environment. The trees surrounding it had scratches, and signs of someone using a kunai on it. I wasn't surprised. They were old and the tree wasn't distressed so they're probably a couple years old.
Turning away from the trees I decided to meditate instead of train. I didn't have much to do anyways.
I sat down right where I was standing, crossing my legs and straightening my back. I closed my eyes and let my mind wander.
It wasn't long until I was completely out of it. So out of it, I didn't even sense the person walking towards me. It wasn't until I felt a finger on my forehead. My eyes quickly opened and met a pair of dark eyes. They seemed surprised and backed away.
I was able to get a good look at him. And can I say it was not what I expected.
It was a little kid.
Probably one of the cutest kids I've ever seen. I had the urge to hug him and make him my little brother. But I noticed the Uchiha clan symbol on the shoulder of his shirt.
"What are you doing?"
I tore my gaze from the patch to his little face. He was closer, but not as close as before. I tilted my head and tried to determine how to respond. Of course I had a soft spot for kids, so I gladly gave him an honest answer.
"Training." I said, with a small smile. He looked utterly confused, with his squinted eyes and raised eyebrow.
"But you're not moving." He leaned back and pouted with crossed arms. Obviously thinking I was lying. I sighed and stares at him,
"Haven't you been taught to not talk to strangers?" My tone wasn't rude or anything of the sort. Just a blatant question. The little Uchiha pouted even more before sticking out his hand,
"My name is Sasuke Uchiha." He stared at me, waiting for me to grab his hand. I gingerly took hold of his hand and shook it,
"Nice to meet you Sasuke-san. My name is Ama." He just smiled in response and pulled his hand away.
"So Ama-san, what were you really doing?" I explained how I was training my mind, and not my body. He then went on a little rant about how his brother never trained him. His face got red and his cheeks were puffed. Then I had an idea.
"Do you want me to train you?" I knew it was a risky question, but I sort of felt bad for the kid since I kind of knew what it felt like.
He blinked in surprise and his features lit up. He stood up and took one of my hands,
"Does that mean we'll be friends?!" His loud voice made me cringe but I nodded in response. He smiled and shook my hand again.
"Can we meet here tomorrow? At the same time?" He got even more excited when I nodded yet again. He beamed and I smiled back, even though he couldn't see it.
He looked up at the sky and frowned,
"I have to go home for lunch now." He looked back at me and did a small bow,
"I look forward to tomorrow Ama-sensei." And with that he turned around and ran into the woods.
I smiled a little to myself and nodded, murmuring,
"Sensei.."
That's something I could definitely get used to..
