'That's what makes you beauti-' your phone rings and you pick it up.
"Hey babe" you hear your boyfriend's voice ring through the phone.
"Hey, how are you love?" he asks.
"I'm good, you? How's tour going?" You ask, he's been on tour for 4 months and doesn't get back till next month.
"It's been good so far, but I miss you so much babe" he says
"Aww I miss you too baby" you reply.
"I've got to go baby we have a signing" he tells you.
"Bye Zayny. I love you" you say.
"Bye babe. I love you too" he replies and you both hang up together.
Your head drops. He's forgotten that it's your 3 year anniversary today. You don't blame him though, with all the stress and excitement of the tour.
'Beep Beep' your phone goes off, telling you that you have a text message, it's from your best friend Liv.
'Hey, the girls and I are going to the beach today, wanna come??'
You smile and text back.
'Hey Livy, yeah I'll come,I'll meet you there in an hour?"
-45 minutes later-
Looking in the mirror you sigh at your reflection. Your have put waves in your long, light brown hair and it falls down your back. You have minimal make up, only a bit of mascara and lip gloss. Your blue eyes look sad, because you're alone on your anniversary. You have decided to wear a cute summer dress, because the weather has warmed up quite a bit. Zayn is way too good for you, you don't know why he chose you, from all the other girls that are falling over him.
You walk outside into the sun, get in your car and drive to the beach. When you get there you find your five best friends sitting on the sand. You walk over and sit down, you're still feeling upset about Zayn forgetting your anniversary.
"Hey Rach, you seem a little down. You ok?" Liv asks.
"Yeah i'm fine, Zayn forgot that it's our 3 year anniversary today..." You tell them, trying not to look too sad. They all smile sympathetically at you and Liv pulls you into a hug.
"Well lets enjoy the day, take your mind off Zayn" she says and everyone jumps up and runs into the water.
-2 Hours later-
You're all back on the beach, trying to get a tan. Then you hear music a little way down the beach, you turn your head to look and see people dancing to 'I Would' by One Direction. You sit up to watch them. They're dancing down the beach towards you and your friends.
When 'I Would' finishes, 'What Makes You Beautiful' comes on and the people continue to dance and sing. 'What Makes You Beautiful is the song that Zayn sang when he asked you to be his girlfriend three years ago, tears gather in your eyes as you start to miss him even more. Suddenly the crowd of dancers splits and you start crying and jump up quickly. The boys are all standing in the middle of the dancers, singing to you.
"Baby you light up my world like nobody else. The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed, and when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell, you don't know. You don't know you're beautiful!" Zayn sings Harry's part to you. You can't move for the rest of the song, you are just standing there with tears streaming down your face. When the song has finished, Zayn walks over to you and takes your hands in his.
He kneels to the ground and looks up at you, the whole world seems to go silent.
"Babe when I met you 3 and a half years ago I knew you were special. When I asked you to be my girlfriend 3 years ago I knew I had made one of the best decisions of my life. And when you said 'yes' I knew I would be the happiest man alive. I know that what I am about to ask you will be the very best decision I will ever make. And I know that if you say yes I will be the luckiest and happiest man on this earth. So will you, Rachel Johnston marry me and make me the luckiest and happiest man on this earth?" he asks you as he pulls a small black box out of his pocket and opens it to reveal a beautiful ring. You can't form any words, so you just nod as tears stream down your face. He smiles and slips the ring onto your finger.
He stands up and you jump into his arms. He leans in and kisses you passionately and everyone around you seems to disappear. You pull away and press your forehead against his and he whispers.
"I'm the luckiest and happiest man in the world"
"And I'm the luckiest and happiest woman in the world" you reply.
"I love you baby" he whispers.
"I love you too"
