It was a cold December, snow was lightly falling, and a child was being brought into the world at the expense of her mother's life. Sakame Snowlight was trying not to interfere but he couldn't help but not want to lose his wife. "I I must do this to save my wife," Mr. Snowlight thought. Then it hit him, he could make a deal with the devil to extend his wife's life. He did just that summoning a man with pale snow white skin, long snow like white hair, blue black horns, and ice blue eyes. He wore a black trench coat with the collar up, black ripped t shirt, dark blue skinny jeans for men, a cross earring on his left ear,  and he held a single red rose. "What is it you want mortal, I dont like nor wish to waste my time," the devil said. "I want to make a deal with you in exchange I shall let you marry my daughter," Mr. Snowlight pleaded. This caught the devil Moroku's interest.  "Well now, I'm listening," Moroku said with a smirk. "I I beg of you to extend my wife's life, she is giving birth to my little girl as we speak, my wife may die. Please just extend her life" Mr. Snowlight begged. Moroku thought about it then grinned. "Well I have been meaning to get a girlfriend let a lone a wife, so this mortal is just giving me a bride, better set some bounderies and a age," Moroku thought. "I will accept your deal, on one condition, I want to wed your daughter by her 20th birthday, and two years before that I want to go to school with her. And just so you know once you make this deal you can't back out or hide," Moroku said sternly. "I understand," Mr. Snowlight said seriously. With a snap of the devil's fingers the life of Helen Snowlight was saved with an extra precaution to have the child's life ensured to be safe and when the girl is in danger Moroku will instantly know.
"There it is done, and just to ensure you remember our deal," Moroku paused then placed a brand mark on Mr. Snowlight's right side of his ribcage, "this will make sure you remember. And remember my name is Moroku Kinashi." Mr. Snowlight nodded holding his right rib cage in pain. With a satisfied look Moroku vanished into thin air leaving a relieved Mr. Snowlight to run to his wife and his now new born baby girl.

"So what will be her name I wonder," Moroku thought as he watched the new family. "I know the perfect name for her Jade Sakura Bloom Snowlight," Mrs. Snowlight said happily. Tears pricked Mr Snowlight's eyes as he smiled. "What a beautiful name for a beautiful baby girl."

    Five years later........
"Jade! Get back here, it's time to come inside dear," Mr. Snowlight called. His body froze at the sight of a five year old Jade in the street picking up a ball as a truck came barring down the road. "JADE GET AWAY FROM THERE," Mr. Snowlight screamed in horror unable to move. In a flash Jade was safe on the side walk with a very pissed off Moroku who vanished. Jade ran into her father's arms happily then put away her toys. "I'm so dead," Mr. Snowlight thought.
"Though she is growing more beautiful by the day but this is the one time she was almost killed! I am so glad I put that danger warning spell on her," Moroku thought aggravated.
He paced around the room as the servants got scared and ran quickly to get their things done.
He looked at the time about a year went buy. Moroku sensed Jade was in danger and appeared behind a near by tree to see Jade was being bullied and was trying to get away. "Oh Jade, Jade, Jade, if only you did what I said and to stay away from the swings, now you will see a world of pain you never will forget," a girl with short wavy blond hair said with a fake look of disappointment. "You are such a bitch," a girl with brown hair styled into a Bob cut chimed in. "W what d did I ever do to you Lexy and Shian," Jade asked backing away terrified. Moroku stepped in disguising himself as an assistant teacher. "Kids is that any way to treat your equal," Moroku asked trying to not sound harsh. "I it's a teacher scram," Lexy cried as she started to high tailed it outta there with her posy. Leaving a sobbing Jade behind. "Hey are you alright little lady," Moroku asked kindly extending a hand
Jade looked up at the man and took his hand as he helped Jade up. "N no I'm not ok, m my feelings are hurt m more t than ever," Jade hugged Moroku's legs which caught him off guard. He didn't know why, but his long dead heart sprung into life with a quick flutter. He hugged her and smiled. "I will always keep you safe, just remember that little Jade, now go to class before you are late," Moroku said kindly as he placed Jade down whipping away her tears that are stopping.
"Thank you sir, for protecting me," Jade said with a bright smile, "I hope we see each other again!" She ran off to class leaving behind a very confused Moroku. He looked down and clutched his heart showing his true appearance his bangs covering his eyes. "What's going on with me," Moroku whispered to himself.
