The weeks passed like falling feathers.  Moroku was friends with Jade. Yet she was starting to act wired. Yet she sang seasonal feathers in English knowing something Moroku didn't. He grew worried and caught her weaving crying as she sang seasonal feathers. He started to read her mind. "I can't let him die, I can't let Jack die, my dear friend I can't let you go! I must weave I must earn enough for your treatment. I can't see you go just like others I do not want to be alone. Moroku wouldn't know how I feel, in fact he is slowly winning my heart," Jade thought as she whipped away her tears. The way she thought so fondly of this "Jack" yet hearing how he is winning her over on love for a man struck his heart wi?th pure joy.
"I might as well help her," Moroku thought. He didn't like to see her cry. He never did, Moroku always helped her even if he couldn't be seen. So the devil walked over to the pure human girl. The way he saw her was always as pure innocence, beauty, and something more. He placed a hand onto the said human girl's hand stopping her. The sapphire eyes once full of love and kindness is now on the brim of sorrow and tears. "Can I be of any use?" The devil smiled softly at her as she engulfed the man into a hug.
A spider's thread came from the window chiming signaling the boy has died.  She froze and then began to quietly sob into the devil's chest holding onto him.
Moroku held the now broken girl in his arms trying to comfort her. "All I can say is I'm sorry."

"Would you love me if I was unable to sing any more," Jade asked through her silent sobs. "But of course I will. I will love you even more then I did before," Moroku replied with a soft smile. The girl held onto him closely starting to fall asleep from crying too much. "I'll take you home, Jade, you can rest in my arms," Moroku said gently. Jade fell asleep as Moroku picked her up bridal style. He took her home surprising and scaring her parents as he told them the news and what happened. As he was about to leave he was pulled back by a sleeping Jade. The two adults allowed the devil to stay so their daughter wouldn't wake up.
The devil; however, was a blushing mess at this.
The poor devil was embarrassed and happy at the same time.
